Nancy Wilson of Heart and Liv Warfield Form New Band ROADCASE ROYALE

Categories:
News Feed
Los Angeles, CA — January 20, 2017 — Nancy Wilson, one of the founding members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group Heart, has teamed up with former Prince band member and R&B singer Liv Warfield to form a new super group called ROADCASE ROYALE.

The sound of ROADCASE ROYALE is muscular rock with some R&B/Blues and in depth ballads thrown in, reflecting the iconic sounds of both their respective bands. ROADCASE ROYALE’S debut song is available to stream now via the band’s Soundcloud page. The song, “Get Loud,” is a ROADCASE ROYALE original, and will debut January 20th immediately following Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out!, which will be livestreamed through Facebook. The song will also be featured at the Women’s March on Austin, TX (the largest ever gathering of Texas women) on January 21.

Joining Wilson (guitar) and Warfield (vocals) are lead guitarist Ryan Waters (the musical director for Liv’s solo work and Prince protégé) along with Heart members Chris Joyner (keys), Dan Rothchild (bass), and Ben Smith (drums). Each of the members’ musical talents shines in “Get Loud.” The song begins with a laid-back groove, providing a solid acoustic and electric foundation for Warfield’s vocals — all about getting loud and standing up for women’s equality. “Get Loud” blends this important message with the groups R&B and rock influences, resulting in a uniquely powerful track.

The band has recorded five new original songs as well as plans for a tour early in 2017. Wilson has said, ROADCASE ROYALE’s activity doesn’t mean Heart is going away. “ROADCASE ROYALE is a side project,”. she notes, “and not a replacement for Heart.” She also stated that the name ROADCASE ROYALE came to the group during a backstage meeting they had last year, and said “When I came up with the name ROADCASE ROYALE it was an interesting symbol to me since the big heavy duty road cases that our amps drums and guitars travel in are much like the musicians they accompany on the road. Strong and regal looking yet all scuffed up and dented, covered in funny stickers that tell the story of a crazy traveling circus.”
“It’s going to be fun to see our road cases with ROADCASE ROYALE stenciled on the side!” Wilson added.
More about ROADCASE ROYALE:
Led by former Prince collaborator Liv Warfield and Nancy Wilson, co-founder of Heart, ROADCASE ROYALE has a rich background in rock and R&B. Warfield, Wilson, and their bandmates bring their decades of experience from the upper echelon of the music industry to ROADCASE ROYALE, along with a renewed sense of direction and drive. Joining Wilson and Warfield are Warfield’s lead guitarist and musical director Ryan Waters and Heart veterans Dan Rothchild (bass), Ben Smith (Drums) and Chris Joyner (Keys). Each of these members shine in ROADCASE ROYALE with their various sensibilities creating the group’s sensitive, passionate, and driving rock and R&B sound.

R.I.P HOWARD KAUFMAN (Manager to Def Leppard/Chicago/Aerosmith)

Categories:
News Feed

From Billboard.com:

The H.K. Management roster included Aerosmith, Stevie Nicks, Jimmy Buffett, Chicago, Lenny Kravitz and Def Leppard.
Howard Kaufman, a frequent collaborator of Irving Azoff's and an influential artist manager whose clients have included some of the biggest names in rock n' roll, has died, Billboard has confirmed. He was 79. The cause of death is as yet unknown.
Kaufman's longtime management company, H.K. Management, had an artist roster that included Aerosmith, Stevie Nicks, Jimmy Buffett, Chicago, Lenny Kravitz and Def Leppard.
In 1974, Kaufman teamed with Azoff to form Front Line Management, which notably guided the careers of the Eagles, Steely Dan, and Buffett, among others. The company disbanded in the early 1980s, around the time the Eagles began their long hiatus, but was resurrected by the pair in early 2005. The revamped Front Line experienced rapid growth and in 2008 was acquired by Ticketmaster, which named Azoff CEO.

From Bob Lefsetz:

He famously told a household name band he'd make them more money in two years than they had in the previous twenty.

And then he did.

Most people don't know who he was. Because unlike those that followed him into the business, Howard was not about fame, he was about protecting the interests of his artists, and money.

And everybody cares about the money. Knock around this business long enough and you'll hear the famous cliche... "It's not about the money, it's about the money."

And Howard started off as an accountant. He worked with James William Guercio. And then he went on to partner with Irving Azoff and steer the careers of Jimmy Buffett and Stevie Nicks and Aerosmith and Def Leppard and... You want someone in your corner, and that was Howard. He could be funny and he could be stern, but one thing's for sure, you could not pull the wool over his eyes.

The first time I met him was on a plane down to Chula Vista, to see Jimmy Buffett, and he told me Fleetwood Mac was gonna reform and I asked him about new material and he told me he'd be happy if they never made another record. This was 2003, he already knew where the bucks were buried, on the road. You see old does not mean dumb, does not mean over the hill, oftentimes it means wisdom and foresight and Howard had it.

And now he's dead.

I won't say he died before his time, prematurely, that he was cut down in his prime, he was 79, but yesterday he was in the office, manning the phones, working, he had time left on his clock.

Only it turned out he didn't.

Huh.

This has been a very strange year. Although the press has gone on about the passing of legends, from Bowie to Frey to Prince to George Michael to lesser luminaries like Dan Hicks, even Leonard Cohen, the story has been about the individuals and their work.

But really, it's about the passing of an era.

This music business didn't sprout in its present incarnation overnight. There were a lot of twists and turns, it was invented along the way. Bill Graham may have institutionalized rock concerts, but it was Led Zeppelin's manager Peter Grant who flipped the script, who had Jimmy and the boys getting ninety percent of the money, because after all, everybody knew the show was gonna sell out.

And in the twenty first century, Jimmy Buffett was getting over a hundred percent of the gross. How can that be, you ask. Because even if you give him all the ticket revenue you're gonna make bank on parking and merch and food and beverage. Hell, if you're a guaranteed sell out there's enough money for everybody.

And there was plenty of money in the seventies. There were no billionaires. Rock stars were as rich as anybody in America. The only difference was, they were beholden to nobody. If they acted out, the manager just peeled off enough hundreds to make it right. It was the wild west, no wonder the Eagles made a concept album entitled "Desperado."

And we've had a couple of revolutions in this century. We had Napster and the changing of distribution to all you can eat streaming. And, of course, the internet has also fostered the social media revolution, and tech has made it so the cost of production has sunk.

But the era of the one of a kind musician, riding through town defining the game as he played it? That's through. Most of the business has become institutionalized.

So, it's not as simple as David Bowie's body of work, it's also about hearing of an act that's not on the radio and buying the album and becoming infatuated and going to see the act at a club or a theatre where they blow you away and you tell everybody you know and you drag them to the next show and eventually they get a song on the radio and everybody knows and you tell them you were there first but all the time you're foraging for new acts.

And the acts neither sounded the same nor used the same producers. And their skills were paramount, how they looked was secondary. If you couldn't sing, write and play, you couldn't make it.

And if you didn't have the right team, your career was a nonstarter.

You ended up with Howard. After you'd been ripped off by others, because Howard knew the landscape, he knew where every dollar was buried. In a world where concert promoters show you books that say they lost money, how do you figure out the real numbers? The kickback from the hall, the advertising shenanigans...only through experience.

There was a plethora of people who learned this way. There were no school programs, there were no books, because it was being invented along the way.

And now they're passing too.

You can read about some thirty year old wanker getting a promotion at the label but that person... It's like working on the assembly line making cars in Mexico. You're filling a role, but it's very different and with a lot less excitement than it was working at Ford a hundred years ago, never mind being Ford.

But the baby boomers remember. Right time, right place. The Beatles were on TV and it all blew up. But that was more than fifty years ago. Some of the music survives, but most of the story does not. How we got from there to here. From terrible sound systems with no production to great sound systems with hi-def projection. From tickets sold for $3 at record stores to clicking to buy on your mobile phone from StubHub for over a hundred.

I'll let others who knew Howard better tell his story. But I was always intrigued by both his intensity and his laughter, and his dedication to the job.

Because it's about the work.

Whether you're slinging burgers at McDonald's or pushing paper at Goldman Sachs, you spend a lot of time there and you've got to enjoy it. And, if you dislike where you are, you have to find a way to something better. To the point where the day before you die, despite having enough cash for your whole neighborhood to retire, you go to work, because you love it.

Howard Kaufman loved his job.

And those he represented loved him.

And in a world where we're all ultimately forgotten, that's all you can ask for.

From Irving Azoff:

Howard was a giant among men. He never sought the spotlight, but was the best in the business.
We worked together for more than 45 years. He was a great influence on me and taught me a lot.
Despite his major health issues, he always wanted to work till the end and I’m glad he got his wish.
It’s a tragic loss for our industry. He will be missed by me as well as scores of others he touched.

BLOODBOUND Launch 'War Of Dragons' February 24

Artist:
Friday, February 24, 2017

News Feed

It’s been an impressive journey for BLOODBOUND: The Swedish power metal commando has become more and more popular in recent years. All this falls back on talent and hard work: Since 2005 BLOODBOUND have not only released six studio albums and a Live DVD/CD, they’ve also toured with giants such as Sabaton, HammerFall and U.D.O. - in the process winning over a very devoted and loyal fanbase of metalheads.

So it doesn’t come as a surprise that BLOODBOUND’s next career move would be a headlining tour now – armed with their brand new studio album, titled ‘War Of Dragons’. It’s basically a continuation of the successful ‘Stormborn’ (2014), but offering more fast-paced tracks, without lacking the anthemic feel the band is known for. BLOODBOUND are masters in combining melody with power and ‘War Of Dragons’ perfectly displays the evolution that the band has gone through since their debut ‘Nosferatu’.

BLOODBOUND was founded in summer 2004 by Tomas Olsson and Fredrik Bergh. Soon they recorded a demo and received contract offers for Europe and Asia instantly. The debut ‘Nosferatu’ was released in 2006 and yielded best critiques. Consequently they played shows with bands like Sabaton, Arch Enemy, Pretty Maids and Evergrey. But 2006 also brought line-up changes which didn’t pass unnoticed, particularly as singer Urban Breed left BLOODBOUND after the tour.

But soon Michael Bormann (ex-Jaded Heart) was found to fill the gap and so the second album ‘Book Of The Dead’ was recorded and released in 2007. It became the band’s first album entering the album chart in Sweden. But shortly after the release of ‘Book Of The Dead’ it was quite obvious - Michael´s other obligations did not allow enough time for BLOODBOUND. To play the already booked shows they could convince Urban Breed to return to the band. And it became more than some gigs. Urban stayed for another tour (supporting HammerFall) and recorded the next album ‘Tabula Rasa’ with the band on which more modern and progressive elements have been added to BLOODBOUND’s sound. Numerous festival shows as well as another tour with HammerFall followed.
But in 2010 the band parted ways with Urban Breed again. On their search for a new vocalist they found the man to finally give BLOODBOUND continuity: Patrik J Selleby, who was not only a great vocalist and frontman, but a friend.

A much noticed return in shape of 2011’s ‘Unholy Cross’ album showed BLOODBOUND return to their old sound, just one and a half years later ‘In The Name Of Metal’ continued in this vein and especially with 2014’s ‘Stormborn’, BLOODBOUND made a whole lot of new fans. The band has toured with Sabaton and U.D.O. in recent years, released a Live DVD/CD (‘One Night Of Blood’) in February 2016 and simply can’t wait to unleash what they’ve been working on for a while now: ‘War Of Dragons’. This new release will see BLOODBOUND tour as headliners in March/April (special guest being their label mates Crystal Viper). So, it looks like one of Sweden’s premier metal acts is keeping it busy – more than ever!

LIV SIN Releases New Single, "Let Me Out" Today

The current Queen of Metal, SISTER SIN veteran LIV SIN has released her first solo single, "Let Me Out," which can be previewed here

Throughout their thirteen year history Swedish sensations SISTER SIN sold thousands of albums and toured the world on high-profile tours supporting the likes of SLAYER and KING DIAMOND on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, as well as being a part of the Revolver magazine "Hottest Chicks In Metal" tour. SISTER SIN toured relentlessly for over a decade across Europe and North America garnering an intensely loyal following of rockers that craved the band’s aggressive and melodic brand of hard rock.

When SISTER SIN called it a day at the end of 2015, Liv Jagrell knew that she had much more to offer the world and her fans. From this, LIV SIN was born. The new music shows the power and attitude that Liv is known for. She says: "For me, it has never been an option to stop singing. I live for the stage and for my fans. I still miss SISTER SIN, but I am very excited to work on my own project, and I can promise it will not be some soft pop rock. This is going to be metal deluxe, because that's who I am!"

"Let Me Out" comes from from the highly anticipated full length Follow Me  (co-produced by longtime ACCEPT and U.D.O. member Stefan Kaufmann and U.D.O. bassist Fitty Wienhold.) album due to be released on 28 April. 2017. Liv says of the track, “The song is about what a person is willing to do and sacrifice to take themselves out of a destructive situation, sometimes with fatal consequences. We see it every day, the desperation in the world is spreading and gets people to behave irrationally. It feels incredibly good to release this single and finally show what we've been working on. I've found a really good gang of new band members and we can’t wait for the world to hear our songs and to come out and play live."

Pre-orders for Follow Me are being taken here

Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce the release of “Don’t Let Up”, the new studio album from Night Ranger. “Don’t Let Up” is set for a March 24th release. The album will be available in both a standard edition and a deluxe edition (featuring bonus track and bonus DVD - physical format only).

For your first taste of new music from the album, check out "Somehow Someway" here:

“‘Somehow Someway’ is all Night Ranger. It not only captures the spirit of our live shows but also is the essence of who we are and who we have been for the last 35 years…a kick ass American rock and roll band…case closed,” says Jack Blades, bassist and vocalist.

Adds Kelly Keagy, drummer and vocalist, "The song "Somehow Someway" is an up-tempo rocker with an infectious, big guitar lick. Take caution while you're driving in your car, you may find yourself going WAY over the speed limit. Check it out!"

"Our new single, 'Somehow Someway' is a rockin' barnburner up to the standards of our first single, "Don't Tell Me You Love Me". This could be a great song to perform live and add to our setlist....Enjoy!!" encourages guitarist Brad Gillis.

Pre-order "Don't Let Up" and/or stream the first single here: http://radi.al/NightRangerDontLetUp or at the links below:

Night Ranger truly epitomizes the sound of the 80's, while at the same time transcending it. Since their reunion in 1996, they have brought their guitar heavy, melodic brand of hard rock into the 21st century with their unparalleled talent, energy, and creativity.
The new album, "Don't Let Up" was self-produced by the band.
“The “Don’t Let Up” album is the result of five musicians living and breathing rock 'n roll 24 hours a day. 35 years on and Night Ranger is once again ready to let the fans know “It’s Only Rock and Roll, but I like it,” says Blades of the new album.

Keagy adds, “Working on the material for the new album "Don't Let Up" was a great experience once again. I always look forward to creating music with Brad, Eric, Kerri, and Jack. I'm really looking forward to playing some of this material for the fans. It rocks!”
"I'm looking forward to the new Night Ranger studio effort 'Don't Let Up' as it's always a pleasure releasing new material to keep the bands creative flow. As typical for NR, we have all the elements that made us popular in the first place, including twin lead vocal tradeoffs with Jack and Kelly and dual guitar harmonies and solos with my new partner in crime, Keri Kelli. We've stacked the deck again with up tempo driving rock songs, mid tempo tunes and a few acoustic ballad tracks. We're hoping this new album will be added to your existing Night Ranger catalog!!!" enthuses Gillis.

With more than 17 million albums sold worldwide, over 3000 live shows performed, and more than 1 billion in radio audience, Night Ranger has both epitomized and transcended the arena rock sound and style of that era and beyond. With songs that have significantly impacted popular culture and continue to expand their ever-growing fan-base, Night Ranger is proof that powerful songs, plus accomplished musicians is the perfect formula for continued success.

Night Ranger has earned widespread acclaim, multi-platinum and gold album status while leaving their indelible mark on the music charts with a string of best-selling albums (Dawn Patrol, Midnight Madness, 7 Wishes, Big Life and Man In Motion), its popularity fueled by an impressive string of instantly recognizable hit singles and signature album tracks. Producing legendary hits such as “Sister Christian”, “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”, “When You Close Your Eyes” the anthemic “(You Can Still) Rock In America”, along with "Sentimental Street", "Goodbye", "Sing Me Away", "Four in the Morning" and more.
The band was also one of the first big "video" bands, with over 10 number 1 videos on MTV.

Over the years, the band’s music has made notable contributions to and been featured in many different areas of media and popular culture. Night Ranger’s songs can be heard in TV Shows; The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, American Dad, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, Parks & Recreation; Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Grand Theft Auto, video games; Rock of Ages hit Broadway musical and feature film; the Oscar-Nominated film Boogie Nights, Friday the 13th, Teachers, Sixteen Candles, The Secret of My Success; JBL’s "Hear The Truth” brand campaign; and many more!

ECLIPSE Continue Their 'Monumentum' March 24

Artist:
Friday, March 24, 2017

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of the hotly anticipated fifth studio album from ECLIPSE, “Monumentum” on March 24, 2017.

Pre-orders of "Momentum" and/or streams of the first single, "Vertigo" are available here: http://radi.al/EclipseMonumentum

Two years after the successful release of the “Armageddonize” album around the globe, Eclipse have established themselves as rising stars with audiences in Australia, Japan, America and Europe (including the 3.5 million viewers who saw Eclipse's debut on Swedish national television at Melodifestivalen 2016).

With the musical development and maturity shown across the board on their last two albums, "Bleed and Scream" and "Armageddonize," the future has become clear: these guys are destined for stardom! And now with their new album, aptly entitled “Monumentum,” band’s amazing abilities are truly on display for the world to hear.

After touring extensively for two years in support of “Armageddonize”, Eclipse's main songwriters Erik Mårtensson and Magnus Henriksson reconvened in Erik's new studio in the Swedish countryside in late summer 2016 and started writing new songs. The intention was to write and record an album with no compromise on either song quality or musical performance from the band.
Singer, songwriter and producer Erik Martensson says: “With every album, one's way of writing music changes a bit. What you thought was exciting and interesting while writing one album can radically change when you start writing the next. I think we have brought in quite a few new tricks in the writing and recording process while still staying true to our sound. In the end, it all boils down to if it's good or bad songs and I think this is the best album we've done. In my opinion there is not one single weak song on the album and I'm really proud of it!”

We know saying your latest album is the best you've done is the oldest cliché in rock music, and so instead of taking our word for it, tune in and listen to the killer opening track “Vertigo” here:

It's melodic rock that's respectful of the roots of the genre, but with sights set firmly on the future. Fans of the band will not be disappointed and newcomers can look forward to hard rocking tunes with massive hooks from the first to the final track.

As Erik puts it: "When I go and see a band I just want to hear songs that make me wanna put my fist in the air and scream along, and I want everyone around me to do the same. Well, Monumentum is one giant fist waiting for a chanting crowd of rockers. We can't wait for the people to hear it!"

Better be ready: ECLIPSE are coming to kick your ass!

“Monumentum” tracklisting:
1. Vertigo
2. Never Look Back
3. Killing Me
4. The Downfall of Eden

HOUSE OF LORDS Deliver 'Saint Of The Lost Souls' March 24

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of “Saint Of The Lost Souls”, the tenth studio album from House of Lords. The album, which is the follow up to their highly successful “Indestructible”, will be released March 24th.

Beginning today, the first audio offering from “Saint Of The Lost Souls” entitled “Oceans Divide” can be heard HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cirgDpXk_K0

You can pre-order the album and/or stream first single, "Oceans Divide" here: http://radi.al/SaintoftheLostSouls

Recorded and produced by the band’s singer and mastermind James Christian, this collection of songs has an incredible flow of up-tempo and mid-tempo rockers mixed with power ballads, which lean a bit more toward keyboards this time around, but without compromising the band's trademark sound which is based around Jimi Bell’s guitar.

“Saint Of The Lost Souls” is already one of the years most anticipated melodic rock releases and will not disappoint fans of the band or genre. James Christian's well crafted and smooth vocals bring the band's craft to new heights. Guitarist Jimi Bell is on fire and the melodic riffs throughout the album will leave you breathless. A new addition on bass is Chris Tristram, who is no stranger to the rock community. His solid performance adds another dimension to the sound and BJ Zampa brings a solid and powerful rhythm foundation to House of Lords.

House of Lords debuted in 1989 with the release of their self-titled album, a record which is still regarded as one of the best arena rock releases of the 80’s. The colossal sound, the soaring vocals of James Christian and instrumental capabilities of the band (which featured ex-Angel and Giuffria keyboardist, Gregg Giuffria, along with luminaries Lanny Cordola, Chuck Wright and Ken Mary), were reminiscent of such frontrunners as Whitesnake/David Coverdale, Deep Purple, and Van Halen and immediately brought the band to the attention of the music media and fans.

With their sophomore release, “Sahara”, House of Lords had considerable radio and video chart success with their cover of Blind Faith’s “Can't Find My Way Home”. After a tour with Nelson in 1991, the group disbanded, eventually coming back together with a new lineup (featuring original members Giuffria and Christian) in 1992 with "Demon's Down". With the change in musical climate at the time, House of Lords went into hibernation until the original lineup came back together in 2000, releasing the controversial “Power and the Myth”, an album which featured a sound leaning more towards progressive hard rock with 70’s rock influences. After a short European tour, singer James Christian decided to go back to the trademark arena rock sound of House Of Lords, putting together a new line-up with the blessing of founding member Gregg Giuffria, who opted out right before the release of “Power and the Myth”. New members Jimi Bell on guitars and B.J. Zampa on drums supplied a true powerhouse sound to the fifth studio album, “World Upside Down”, a record which caused a real stir in the hard rock and melodic rock scenes. That album was followed up by the equally impressive “Come to My Kingdom” in 2008, "Cartesian Dreams" in 2009, "Big Money" in 2011, and “Precious Metal” in 2014.

The band has toured relentlessly in Europe and the States in support of their releases and have now become a true staple of the hard rock scene on both continents. House Of Lords stands for superb hooks and majestic atmospheres that bring back the memories of their stellar debut album, monumental guitar riffs and a production to die for. All these ingredients you will find on “Saint Of The Lost Souls” which shines from the first second to the last!

Finland's ONE DESIRE To Launch Debut March 24

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the release of the self-titled debut album from Finnish rockers ONE DESIRE on March 24th.

Pre-order the album here: http://geni.us/OneDesire

The music video for first single, "Hurt" can be seen here:

One Desire was started in 2012 by drummer Ossi Sivula. A couple of years were spent writing songs and making demos with different musicians and friends with an aim to create music that could change the world. Various musicians came and went along the way, but in 2014 things started to click when they met Jimmy Westerlund (Negative, Sturm und Drang, Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, Pitbull, etc.), who has several platinum and gold albums to his credit as a producer, guitarist, and songwriter. He had just moved back to Finland after a stint in Los Angeles and the band hired him to produce some songs.

After recording three songs with a new musical direction, they managed to attract the attention of Serafino Perugino, owner and head of A&R at Frontiers Music Srl, but, at this point the band needed a great singer. After trying out some different options, Jimmy suggested his long time friend Andre Linman from the band Sturm und Drang (who had sold over 100,000 records and gone platinum and 2x gold in Finland) who had recently decided to go on hiatus. Andre got together for a couple of sessions with the guys and after writing a couple new songs together, the style and sound that was about to become ONE DESIRE was born. Ossi and Andre asked Jimmy to join the band in 2016 and this is the album that was born from that collaboration. Also, not long after this happened, the very talented Jonas Kuhlberg (Paul Di'Anno, Cain's Offering, MyGrain) was brought on and he became the last link in the chain.

This kickass new lineup perfectly captures the original vision for the band and continues upon Linman's and Westerlund's successful legacies. Musically, the band draws musical influences from classic rock bands like Journey, Toto, and Def Leppard, but also lots of heavier, more modern bands. “Our sound is very melodic, slightly pop-ish at times, but still based on a heavy rock sound,” says singer Andre Linman.

After Jimmy brought in the song “Hurt”, the band felt that that they had taken it to the next level. Andre wrote the beautiful ballad, “This Is Where The Heartbreak Begins” plus many other songs and at that time, ONE DESIRE started to find the right direction for Ossi's rocker, “Do You Believe”. Finally, in mid-2016, the band felt they finally were musically locked in and had the material to make an album that they could honestly stand behind and love beyond a shadow of a doubt.

“After the album is released we will be touring heavily, so stay tuned for some shows!” concludes Linman. 2017 will be a fantastic year as the journey of ONE DESIRE just begins!

There's no time wasted when it comes to one of Canada's most thrilling metal bands STRIKER
In 2016, they unleashed their award winning Stand In The Fire, their fourth album and first release via their own independent label Record Breaking Records.
Wasting no time kicking off the new year, the shredders are set to return with their fifth, (self-titled) studio album due out on February 24, 2017 along with tours across the USA and Europe from January till mid April (dates listed below).

The band comments on the upcoming release:
"This is our no bullshit album. We cut out everything that wasn't absolutely necessary and kept everything short and to the point. We pray at the altar of heavy metal everyday, and there are some musical ideas that persist through time and some that don't. We focused in on what keeps listeners coming back and got rid of everything else. You can't climb Mount Everest dragging any useless shit with you; if you want to make it to the top, only bring with you what is absolutely necessary:
Lethal Amounts of Shred." .

STRIKER has launched a pre-order campaign with immediate download of their streaming first single Born To Lose

PRE ORDER NOW!!
(Pre-order campaign will run from January 10 till the end of the month.)

Listen To Born To Lose via Soundcloud

The band explains:
"Born To Lose, like most of our songs, is about doing what you want in life. When you are born into this world, there is a lot of you life that is predetermined. If you choose to change part of your life you need to go out and live it, not just fantasise about it. We've always wanted to hear music like ours, so we started a band and created it. Born to Lose embraces everything we love about music: speed, nonstop shred, huge vocals, guitars, and drums, and over the top energy and emotion.
If it doesn't make you want to throw down and party then nothing will."

Michael Schenker started his professional career as a recording Artist in 1970 as a young hopeful talent in the Scorpions and followed this with a stint in the British hard rock institution UFO and then his own Michael Schenker Group before moving on to forming The Temple of Rock.

Over the years, Michael has not just experienced the highs and lows of life; but his development as a guitarist has been consistent, from a German Wunderkind to an experienced and technically highly skilled guitarist.

The Michael Schenker Group (abbreviated as M.S.G.) are a guitar-oriented hard rock band formed in 1979 by former Scorpions and UFO guitarist, Michael Schenker.

Michael Schenker's solo career instantly took off right from the start 1980 when the eponymous debut album, "Michael Schenker Group", featuring Gary Barden on vocals, entered the  top 5 UK Album and Single Charts with Armed and  Ready, followed by the release of Live At The Budokan.

In 1982, Graham Bonnet who had just left Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow was temporary replacing Gary Barden and recorded with M.S.G. the album Assault Attack which was to become many musicians’ favorite featuring Chris Glen on bass and Ted McKenna on drums.

In 1986, Schenker and vocalist Robin McAuley formed the McAuley Schenker Group, which lasted until 1992.

M.S.G.’s music is best described as mostly melodic hard rock with progressive undertones. Michael Schenker is famous for his black and white Gibson Flying V and for his unorthodox approach to lead guitar. Michael is sponsored by Dean Guitars and is well known in the neo-classical genre.

Stefanie was born and raised in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, once home to some of the country's largest steel manufacturing and the subject of Billy Joel's 1982 hit 'Allentown'. The towering Steel Stacks have become the backdrop for a flourishing music scene, the home of Musikfest, and the beginning of Stefanie's songwriting journey.

Stefanie discovered her passion for music and songwriting at a young age. She got her start by singing her song ideas into her grandfather's old cassette recorder. As she dove deeper into songwriting, she learned to play guitar which took her writing to the next level. She began to showcase her songs by taking the stage at Lehigh Valley's Musikfest, as well as appearing on the tv music series 'Steel Sessions', and singing the National Anthem at Coca-Cola Stadium.

In 2011 Stefanie ventured to Nashville and performed at the legendary Bluebird Cafe and 12th & Porter. Two years later she traveled to perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to further expand her life journey. These experiences have led to the collection of songs from her debut CD.

In 2015, Stefanie began recording her album with producer Brian J. Anthony who immediately embraced her vision. Brian helped create a sonic landscape by mixing bits of rock, pop and country while not losing the intensity of her voice or deep personal reflection in her lyrics. The result of these tracks gained the attention of some of the area's best-known musicians who all jumped at the opportunity to be part of this release.

Stefanie continues to captivate fans of all ages with her love torn lyrics and catchy hooks. She is ready to take center stage as one of Pop/Rock's best up and coming artist.
