Thanks to Misterpomp, I found out about Robby last year and... well, let's just say there's NO turning back now!! He's truly amazing!!! If you love "Infinity", you MUST get his new CD "Believing is Seeing". Wait till you hear "What in the World I'm Waiting For", "Truth Will Out", "Forever and 1 Day".... !!
Zinatra is also well worth picking up, especially "The Great Escape". 1st Avenue is more straight-up AOR and not really part of the Robby catalog, in my opinion.
Having not heard "United" or "No Sugar Added", I think it's safe to assume that Robby Valentine's 1991 debut is his most AOR sounding CD. Worth it for the song "Angel" alone, but plenty of gems strewn along the way!!
"Infinity", as you know, is KICKASS!!
"Valentine" (1995) sees him stepping outside the rock genre a bit more. "God" is unabashedly massive in every respect and, in my opinion, an all-time Robby classic, right up there with the song "The Magic Infinity".
But get that new CD! "Believing is Seeing"!
