People on here are not Shinedown's core fanbase. They have a much younger audience now who are all in on the Vinyl craze, especially the multiple formats, coloured vinyls, splatter vinyls etc.
Vinyl will be a huge chunk of the sales and to release without them would hurt the chart position drastically.
And I have no reason to doubt that it's the real reason. It's been a problem for well over 12 months with delays on vinyl pressings.
