Hey Nick! Just talked to a guy you gave a review for the other day...told him to say hi to ya the next time he talks to you. Rumaldo I think his name was? Great guy, killer player/writer. I may make a new one Nick, but my pet peeve is I need to play the last one out a bit before I do that. One thing I don't want to do (though I know it's risky as it can lose fans) is to be a studio musician tha

God I soo wanna jump on this thread Laurent! But everyone is getting along too well and I don't want to jinx anything. I actually typed a super long post about this but fortunately for me and all our readers, I just had a power failure. God works in mysterious ways I tell ya. ;) Danny Danzi

Andrew, feelings are mutual bud, thanks a lot! New album...can happen, SHOULD happen, would like it to happen, (IS happening in my lil world just because I needed to write more stuff...killer new studio I had to test on myself anyway lol) but that depends on if I can get a good deal or if I feel like doing it all myself...which as you know would be an absolute time consuming nightmare! LOL! You k

Tony M!! Good post there man, but if I can add a bit to this I'd like to. :) In this field as an artist like Tommy, I put in countless hours of time, heart, soul and all the passion a human can invest hoping....just hoping that I can make it to the next level and possibly do something with my musical career and make a difference. When you have someone that is dishonest with you when you take thi

Hey Paul! :) Ah I'm still lurking and doing the music thing. Working on a few new ideas at present for what may be another album. I've still not decided, but the band and I still rehearse weekly and do a few local gigs once in a while. It's funny you mention Ted....about 2 years ago, he sent me an email about possibly hooking something up. At the time I believe he was living in Philly....which

Axe, to me this was one of the best AOR albums ever released and it saddens me that it never took off. From my understanding, as my band was actually playing regularly with Larry's cover band every Thursday night, David was on tour with Billy Joel at the time and just couldn't do the side project stuff. This album is one of the best albums I own and I have used it several times as a mixing templa

Mike, good post. I'd like to clear a few things up if I may in basic terms that non-engineers can understand about mastering. First, everytime you pop a CD or other form of media in your player and reach for an EQ knob, you are realistically mastering that material. The mastering guys are the ones that get the entire mix and do just as you are doing, but they apply their changes and they remain

LOL@Dobby! One of these days T I'm coming back over there...even if it's just to hang with you! You definitely made the times I've been over there (and my band too, they love you man!) extremely enjoyable. I put you on the list as one of the funniest fuqqers I have ever met....and a great guy to boot. Take care bro, we'll have to catch up one of these days.

Hey hey Core, I'm still around...mostly lurking here as I think I'm better off. Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate them. A few answers for you if I may. "He seem's to have come and gone with his last and very underrated excellent album "Danziland". Sure does appear that way, which is sad. I felt the same as you to be honest....DZL is something I'm VERY proud of, but
