There is a movement afoot to team up Moxy and AC/DC again on the same bill. AC/DC actually opened up for Moxy back in 1977 and Buzz Sherman was AC/DC first choice to replace Bon Scott. Anyone who has not heard of Moxy, check out Ridin high. A classic slice of North American hard rock

I had lunch with Brian back in January, there was a problem with the producer and Rhino Buckett had to rerecord all the tracks. Had an email from Brian this morning and the Kix reunion gigs are now starting to pay off for him, which is really good news. He is one of the nicest, guys i have meet, whos in a band, there is no ego, nothing.

Looking back on my youth and having Iron Maiden playing in NZ soon bought back memories. The best heavy rock club i went to was the Bandwagon Heavy metal Soundhouse. I saw Iron Maiden play, Riot, Ted Nugent and Motorhead there. Went to the Astoria in Nottingham and they played Ridin High by Moxy. Also had some great nights at the Hammersmith Clarendon, Oscars and Royal Standard. Remember the Bai

I have just revisited The Regulators ""Above the law "" cd have have to say its one of the finest slices of southern rock i have heard for ages. Anyone into southern rock should track down this album, These wild eyed southern boys from Southern California play honky tonk, blues-infused, good-time boogie tunes. Along with Copperheads ""live and lost"" 2 of t

Has to be one of the best hard rock albums of all time. I still play it today. I remember seeing them on TOTP, Crackerjack when i was young lad. Saw them as a 3 peice in 81 at a club in Croydon. Mick Tucker one of the most underated drummers ever. A band at their prime could knock the socks of most of the shite today.

Check out Blackberry Smoke, they are on the same bill. For good Southern rock, look for a band called The Regulators, Copperhead and a really obscure band called Crossrode. Crossrode released a 8 track album back in 1980. Now really hard to find, more chance finding a ham sandwhich at a jewish wedding. Check out internet radio station allsouthernrock.com

Let me guess, he slipped over, and the nun chucks somehow embedded themselve in his glory hole. While on the subject, at the same hospital a young lad came in with a carrot up his jack. Earlier on i recieved a phone call from his grandmother asking advice on what to do. He then came into the dept with his uncle. Talk about keeping it in the family. Heard about husband and wife team, she stuck a

I used to work in an A&E in South London, we had a man come in with a curtain ring around his old man. The dr on duty called the fire brigade. As he dailed 999, 3 tenders came to the callout. Seeing 20 firemen walk into a cubicle was a sight i will never forget.
