I will go along with Rocknut, saying that Fire Down Under is nothing short of brilliant. The first 3 Riot albums are classics that still dont leave my ipod. I was luck to catch Riot 3 times with Guy, one of the best bands i have ever seen.

I have the Creed on my ipod. Did you know they played a reunion gig back in 2008 in Memphis. I think it was their 4th one. After Creed go and play Moxy Ridin High, Goddo, Teaze, Zon or early Riot.

Daniel, i am far from ignorant, just stating that such iconic bands such as Starz, Angel can only muster up 3 or 4 responses. Had i not responded to the orginal thread, how much response would it have generated.

Nobody cares about Starz on this site, when Mickey Jones died he got all of 4 responses. Swedish idol and Bon Jovi gets more threads. Sums it up really.

Most people on here will disagree with me, but i thought Aerosmith ended in 1980. Rock in a hard place was ok, Jimmy Crespo was no Joe Perry. Even Night in the Ruts blows their later stuff away. And thats when tension where running high with the Toxic Twins. I saw Aerosmith in 81/82 whille in the US, Steve Tyler was half way into the first song, fell of stage (anyone see a pattern forming) climb

I went through hard times back in the early 90s, sold most of my large record collection, which included Starz live KBFH Live Angel KBFH Live like a suicide. Biggest mistake i made. I regret to this day selling my records.

I think that the music is just as good as yesteryear. Maybe its the memories that we associate with music. Being a 16 year old in 1977, starting to go to concerts, clubs and girls, many groups, albums have a specfic memory for me. Now that i am married with children, i might hear a song, like but thats it for me.

Talking with a friend today about old music venues we used to go to. I remember the Rainbow Finsbury Park and Music Machine, but there was a venue on Silver Street Edmonton that hosted bands. The Who and Sweet played there. In the late 80s it became a banquet hall for weddings. Anyone remember the name of the venue.
