Yep, Kix did play Edwards No 8, then supported yngwie malmsteen at the Dominion, then played the Marquee. Kix only play one off shows, as Brian is based in LA and plays in Rhino Buckett, Steve is a vocal coach and Jimmy is a chef.

Terry K, the new bands that i listen to are from the Southern rock genre. Hogjaw new cd is fantastic, also into a great new band from Texas, Whiskey Myers and Swampdawomp. Having grown up as a teenager of the late 70s, thats where my musical heart lies.

Starz, Legs Diamond, Angel, The Babys, Teaze and Ram Jam still get played in my house on a regular basis. I have not got the inclination to listen to much current music, preffering the stuff that set the bar for everything to come, years later. If your interested at revisiting the 70s music scene, from Ohio. Check out photographer, Richard Galbraith. he has some stunning shots of Angel, Legs and S

Split up. Mike Prince used to work for Michael Jackson, Roger Romeo is in a band called Funkin Maniacs, Rick Sanford is now living in San Antonio, playing in a band called The Rick Sanford Project. Heard that Jim May is sound engineer for late night tv.

Great to see this Texas Band get the recognition they deserve. Joe Antony The God Farther of San Antonio rock used to play them on his radio show back in the late 70s.

Depends on who gets replaced? I could listen to all of Legs Diamond material with or without original members, but when they replaced Rick Sanford with John Levesque, that spelt the end for me of a great band.Ricks voice completed and complemented the whole sound of LD. No one else could sing "Woman" like him. Not even John Levesque.

Mercyful fates, first manager was Ken Antony. Ken was Instrumental in introducing Lars to many great UK bands of the early 80s.

I dont have enough time to take a crap sometimes, let alone writing reams of utter rubbish while slagging of your peers. If you lot put the same amount of time and energy in to doing something good for your community then you all would be richer for it.

Steve, i saw these guys play at the Kings Arms in Auckland a while back, the singer was drunk and i was not impressed by their performance. I understand they have a new singer now. I have seen the new video on Juice tv.They look like they have also undergone an image change. I think they are playing in Wellington in Feb on The NZ Homegrown tour, down on the Waterfront.

I doubt Aerosmith will ever return to that raw sound they had on Rocks, Toys in the Attic,They produced some of the best hard rock from that era. They have become to polished with to many outside influences. Bearing in mind that Aerosmith now cater for a completely differant set of fans that have bought up on a diet of Pump, Nine lives etc. I think most fans from the 70s have deserted them from R

Poison, hardly one of most the outrageous bands. They have produced nothing of interest for decades, and have a frontman that has become a parody of himself and stooped to appearing in total shit reality tv. Most outrageous band has to go to GG Allin and the Murder Junkies. Now that would be a interesting book to read.

The show you saw in a rock club setting was recorded at My farther Place 1981. I have the whole show, approx 80 minutes worth on hard drive. There is also another clip of Mark and Rick in a guitar dual. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X69qgmB3bbo As Ydde will testify Riot with Guy is one of mine all time favorite bands

"It is with deepest sadness and sorrow that we announce the death of our good friend Tom Nigra, who passed away on Sunday, January 23rd. His passing has been a terrible and unexpected loss. He was diagnosed with a stage IV glioblasoma brain tumor in October, and came down with pneumonia last week. Once his condition got worse he was in little pain and did not have to endure any suffering. To
