Rocknut - having seen Furyon live about 6 or 7 times now and Matt's solo gigs a fair few times, I can safely say that Matt solo will complement the other acts far more than Furyon would in this particular instance :-)

I have no idea how they did, only that I bought my daughter one of the lovely strappy tops :-) I hope it sold well cos it's really nice, and I don't usually *do* band merch, only CDs. The logo looks awesome and it's just a nice piece of kit full stop. I'd have liked one myself, but unless I somehow miraculously halve my body weight, I have two chances of getting into one - ie fat (how apt ROF

That's a shame, my daughter and I were only saying on the way back from Bournemouth Sunday morning how we'd love to have recordings of all that stuff with Jeff singing it.

"He doesn't come across as genuine, he's cheesier than a doublr cheese sandwich, With extra cheese. And a side order of cheese. He ponces around onstage like he should be in some late 80's poodle haired metal band, not the coolest AOR act the planet has seen. Get rid!" I usually stay out of all this stuff, but had to reply to this :@ Have you ever actually *met* JSS? He's one of the

Haunted would be great - it's my daughter's fave DV song and she's coming with me to Bournemouth on Saturday, but we don't mind what the set list is, only the fact it ain't long enough! LOL Talking of which, a friend of ours doing Media Studies A Levels has just done their own Haunted vid, have a look and see what you think :-) I think it's very impressive, well it's filmed in Brighton so it's

Sorry to disagree, but I think it's erm............(how to put it diplomatically?)........not very good :-/ A couple of the tracks are OK, but that's it. She's absolutely *murdered* the lovely Bowes & Morley song 'Change' - I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I heard it on the radio on Saturday evening! Dire (IMHO of course!)

The Rig was quite fun last year BUT I certainly won't miss that goddamn awful smoke machine! I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets really pissed off with it (or am I? LOL) My fave pre-show was the first one, but that's prob cos Pride were playing :-) I've enjoyed them all tho, altho the second one was very squashed! FIVE bands? Wow...... can't wait to find out who they are!

Liz and I both have birthdays at the end of May so I'm declaring that our unofficial birthday party :-) Looking forward to it loads, *and* seeing Stormzone! Not however looking forward

Well I'll be there anyway, I don't care who is on*! :-) It's a great weekend and I go more for the social aspect, obviously the fact that there's great bands on too helps ;-) (*I might draw the line if it was bands of the genre my son likes, ie what I call 'barfing' music, where they all sound like they're throwing up as opposed to singing, but thankfully I'm pretty sure that *won't* happen at

Eeek - is now not a good time to say how much I *loved* the Tyketto reunion in 2004? I never got a chance to see 'em first time around (spent most of that era in hospital with a very sick daughter) - so I welcomed that reunion tour big time!

£65 luv - and for the Crowne Plaza that *is* a bargain, as my friend and I paid £124 for our room for the Thunder Christmas party . Firefest I paid £80 and was happy with that, but £65 including brekkie is great, and that's for two peeps, even tho I'm going on me tod. I got it thru www.laterooms.com I usually book with the Holiday Inn site direct but they wanted about £96 I think. I'm ho

Got mine :-) Just a tip for anyone still yet to get theirs, I looked on one ticket website and they wanted £1.50 admin charge and also £2 service charge or something ludicrous like that - I refuse to pay over the half the cost of the ticket in bloody charges! I then phoned Rock City direct and they are charging 60p! Picking up my ticket on the night. Train fares booked (bargain) - if anyone
