Well there used to be Fabrizio Grossi (hated his production) then Magnus Karlsson and now ADV is the golden child. I don't mind these projects if they're done right. There's plenty of them out there that are great but there are plenty more that are just average. Get a bunch of writers on staff and mix them up so the songs don't all meld together. I'm happy to see some of these vocalists/m

And even if we do get an album, what are the chances it'll be something we'll want to listen too. Ronnie seems out of touch with what people want to hear from him.

The last TNT album sucked so I'm sure the only way to go is up.

In engineering we have the saying Don't reinvent the wheel. In this case, that's basically what's being done. He did a great job, but unless you're doing something different or special with it, why bother. No one's going to match Richard Page as far as vocals and the production of the original was top notch.

Sorry, sounds too generic for me. Can't get into the vocalist either.

Not sounding good at all. He sounds strained and tired.

Better than the first but he still has a ways to go for it to be a memorable/great track.

Axe did a great job with those, They sound so much better than the originals. As far as Dare goes, they probably won't put any bonus tracks on it since they didn't with the last 2 they rerecorded. Wish they would though. I would love to hear Valentino done.

Here in the northeast US, food prices have gone nuts and oil is very high as well. Just got charged $6.30 a gallon for oil! That's the highest it's ever been. It's going to be an expensive winter. But in general everything is seeing rising costs. A lot of companies are offering big bonuses to new hires. Never seen it like this before.

The thing is, other than diehards, who's going to buy the album. It's not like they're Van Halen. The people who buy an Autograph album are going to know who Autograph are. I can't see there being many spur of the moment purchases from people who just know "Turn up the Radio".

The new CleanBreak album is a good example of that for me. There are plenty of fast and furious songs on there but there's no let up. Some slower songs would have been good or I would even settle for some good instrumental breakdowns. Don't get me wrong I love the album but with some more variety it would have been awesome.

Dead Winter Dead really got me back into this band. Wasn't expecting much from it, but it really blew me away. I think it was the very cinematic feel of it. Very melodic, multipart and counterpoint harmonies. After that would be Handful of Rain.

Far from his heyday on this song I'm afraid but he does a decent job. The problem is as I'm listening to it I feel like any second he's going to go out of tune or miss a high note or something. I don't feel the confidence that I want to hear in vocalist. I hate to say it but with another vocalist this song could be brought to another level. He trying to sing it like it was 25 years ago. She’s obviously trying to recreate an 80’s feel for the video. But it seems like she’s trying too hard and it comes across looking more like a parody. Like the song though.

Well they do seem to be using a Rockman so the guitar sound is Bostonesque but the song itself isn't really in the Boston mold.

Didn't Jeff Paris write and produce for this album. I bought it just because of that but I couldn't find any material that I really liked off the disc so it got traded a long time ago...

Yeah, I have it as well and really like it. I agree with all the comparisons listed. Picked it up at a pawn shop quite a while ago and the owner let me use a CD player to listen to the ones I was interested in. It was cool finding it...

Well, you could follow the path that JSS has been taking, where he been doing a project to satisfy his Melodic rock followers (WET) and as well do his own projects that satisfies his own soul. Talking as a selfish Melodic rock follower I would love to see you doing a project, doing something in the White Sister vein but of course modernized soundwise with great songs. I know most people here wo

Most 3rd rate metal bands are putting out stuff like this. I loved them for the melodic side of their first albums up to Against the Law. After that I lost interest. I'm guessing that they feel that they have to be heavy to be relevant these days and feel that melody was a figment of the 80's.

Wow, That's an average of 8 1/2 minutes per song. I'm so glad he took a lot of time and effort into it to make it sound really special.

He also does a cover of Open Skyz "Pickin' Up the Pieces" and he sounds raspy on that as well. It's easy to hear because I'm so used to Hugo's version which is ultra smooth. Love the Open Skyz version, his not so much...

Wow, what a shock. I didn't know he was sick. Loved the first Urban Tale album and more recently Leverage. Still have very fond memories of seeing him in Wigan at the Godz of AOR in 2001. They did a storming Journey tribute at the end. Very very sad...

He was one of the premier metal vocalists of the 80’s. Grim Reaper Rock U 2 Hell was a big part of my youth. I have a lot of respect for him, seeing how he continued on with GR even though he was having some severe medical conditions. Still had a great voice the last I heard him. Much respect!!
