John Wettons vocals are great...........John Payne is OK but he aint no Wetton....never will be. I liked Silent Nation but the Wetton/Downes CD is far superior in my opinion.........Ide love a Wetton led Asia tour but I know that wont happen.

What are peoples albums of 2005 so far? WETTON/DOWNES --- ICON by a mile for me so far..........Wetton & Downes best work since the Asia debut in my opinion.........people may say Too Many Hooks spoil the broth, not with this 40+ minutes of AOR Melodic Class..... Let Me GO.......The best melodic rock song ive heard in ages.

I love this CD and have played it on a regular basis for a couple of weeks..........everyone's taste is different and thats what makes music interesting. If you want to listen to a polished AOR masterpiece full of hooks and great choruses then the Wetton/Downes CD Icon is a must get........AWESOME

Ime moving to a place an hour or so South from there........There is a bar called The County Line that has a rock night (Mainly 80s rock) every first Friday in the month if my memory serves me correctly.......not sure about the Orlando area tho... Have A nice holiday......

I listened again recently to my copy of Jeff Waynes War Of The Worlds and although not melodic rock I must say what an incredible piece of music it is from start to finish.
