Chapman is an energetic and busy player and Profession of Violence with its Mogg delivery and Chapman solo is one of the big UFO tracks. Generally, I would say Chapman's solos are less memorable than Schenker's though. Which is the reason I miss the latter ;)

You managed Graham during his tenure with Michael Schenker Fest. I just watched their performance at Bang Your Head 2019 (on Blu-ray) and Graham's vocals are quite pitchy. I assume someone was not running tracks for him on that night. For the record, it would be interesting to know during which years/tours Graham was lipsyncing?

It is clear you are not on good terms now. But it doesn't take away from the fact that Alcatrazz's main identification factors are Graham's vocals and Yngwie's or Vai's guitar playing. In addition to the songs themselves of course, which were mainly written by Graham + whoever was guitarist at the time. Waldo being an original member or having the rights to the name in a court doesn't change this

Could be but the era was represented in equal fashion during the Michael Schenker Fest tours ;) It's just a waste of great talent to not have him team up with Robin McAuley who sounds like it was still 1989. Michael's playing is also up to scractch to do those songs justice.

I've been watching the Bang Your Head 2019 show by the Michael Schenker Fest (available as a bonus Bluray disc accompanying the MSG Immportal CD) and Robin McAuley sings like a king. As does Doogie White somewhat surprisingly (I found him struggling a bit to hit the notes live with Temple of Rock prior to that). Gary Barden struggles while Graham Bonnet fares better. Is it still Triumph? :) I guess this is the approach they will be going for on tour with Phil X handling much of the singing. Although technically very good, he's not Rik and the feeling of the song(s) changes. Not unlike Journey with Arnel, where they approach the land of karaoke. Rik's guitar playing is still very good though. What are your thoughts?
