Sorry but I travelled down monthly from 1996 onwards and then even moved to Wigan as I loved the scene there. It went dreadfully downhill and my last trip in I left after an hour and decided bed was a better option. Another friend from Newcastle religiously travelled every month too. He too has stopped going every month not because his priorities changed but because he now feels its a sub standar

I'd just like to thank you all so very much for all the kind words, I was really touched by them all, not touched in the way that Nick touches farmyard animals or Andy Windsor when he's wearing his best pink n fluffy pants....... I was touched, but in a very nice way...... Big thanks to everyone. I have settled in ok

If you want castles Ted you need the North East of England. Northumberland has many beautiful castles including Alnwick, which I believe was used on harry potter movies. Nottinghamshire is actually a lovely historical county, plenty to see there. If you really want a journey come up here to the Scottish Highlands, you can see the Loch Ness Monster, visit Culloden where the English kicked Scots

I remember when I first went to a Maximes rock night, I believe Mark Ashton and Alger were DJing back then. There was such a buzz in the place and i got to hear bands I had never heard of. That led me to increase my AOR collection. For a good few years I would travel from Newcastle or Brum when I lived there most months to attend. It was great that people came from Newcastle, Sheffield, Notting
