No one has been more of a Ten supporter than me but even I have come to the conclusion they are dead in the water. Last album was mediocre, they don't tour and don't even have an active presence on the internet to let the fans know what they are up to. I have fond memories of all the earlier albums and gigs but have pretty much lost interest now. What is there to motivate a decent guitarist to

Paul people are quite entitled to be annoyed if the bands that made them want to attend are pulled. We shouldn't support things just for the sake of it, we should support them because they appeal to us. Why would anyone fork out for transport, accommodation, spending money etc to see bands that don't appeal to them. Oh yeah I forgot we must support the melodic rock charity at all costs. Some peop

Doesn't happen often but I agree with Goddess XD I love Leppard and Whitesnake and want to see both do well. I don't however want to see 800 posts telling me when they took a @!#$. There seems ito be nothing else to read on the board (and in my new job I don't have time to idle on the net :p). It takes too long to sift through those posts to see if there has been any interesting chat about anyone

OMg don't ever call chips french fries. Fries are an awful Macdonalds abomination. The perfect chip should be a lovely thick slightly crispy thing with lashings of lovely soft potato inside. A french frie is like eating salted cardboard.

230. Re: Ten
I have to admit I was pretty disappointed in the last Ten album and not at all impressed with Gary's last album :-( Thats coming from an addicted fan. I really wish he would let someone share songwriting a little, get a producer, go back to the infectious tunes and oh a bit of touring wouldn't go amiss :/ Now I have to go outside and flog myself for not gushing :-(

How very true about Thunder Paul. First time I saw them I was 16. It was back when Radio 1 was going FM a city at a time. When it was Newcastle's turn They brought the Friday Rock show up to the Mayfair and we got Thunder and Romeo's Daughter each doing a live set. It was a great night. Got on the bus with no make up to get on for a half, then slapped the warpaint on to get in the Mayfair lol. B

November 12th 1989 Skid Row and Vain at Newcastle City Hall. Somehow managed to get from Row P to the front row lol. Week after was the Cult and Claytowne Troupe at Whitley bay Ice Rink. Couple of weeks after that Alice Cooper, Britny Fox and Great White at Whitley Bay then Faster Pussycat, The Almighty and Dangerous Toys at Newcastle City Hall. Those were the days when there always seemed to be

Right I am a bit late with Coco's message form last week due to having family up and no chance to do some sneaky typing at work. Also just to let you all know he has been moved to Barlinnie in Glasgow due to overcrowding in Inverness. Here goes his msg hey peeps Day 19...... still no sign of land, have eaten Man Friday and made a sleeping bag out of his skin..... Oops sorry that was last year.

I don't think you can compare the blues to melodic rock. There will always be people discovering blues, jazz etc. Our melodic rock is a product of its time. Look at the attendances for melodic rock gigs, they are getting smaller not bigger. Yes there will always be a handful of people who like it but to all intents and purposes it is dead. How many people under 20 that are not brought to a gig b

I am agreeing with surfie and nick. Some of us for years have been trying to say people need to step out of the box a little. Maybe I am lucky that I was never just a melodic rock fan. Always liked a bit of metal, pop, country etc as well. Now I love all the old stuff I will always adore Danger danger, Tyketto, Leppard and so on and so on. They will always get played and I will always make the e
