I'm probably the biggest Harem Scarem fan around but I can probably see why people may put them here. I've seen them every time they have been in the UK and only the last twice were they above average but I think more to do with the sound than their ability. I think Harry is great and love his sense of humour on stage but can also see that people may not appreciate it.

Melissa is great. Have seen her singing with Serenity and Warkings (same thing?) and am very impressed with this new venture. Hope the date announced in the UK later this year is allowed to happen Forum: Noticeboard
I was in London too - the show was OK nothing particularly special and I found the new songs a bit dull if I'm honest though I'm sure with more familiarity they would be better. However the support band Cyhra were brilliant - much better sound than when I saw them with Battle Beast in November. Forum: Noticeboard
We were heading for the Gothenburg festival date. It says that is still on (there were about 5 other bands) and they are looking for a new headliner. Hope so as flights all booked and paid for. Forum: Noticeboard

I think the first part of the guitar solo sounds just like Nuno before he morphs back to Peteo. For my tastes absolutely the best studio band still alive. Forum: Noticeboard
The London Halestorm gig. Always great but I hated the venue, had to leave early - short set anyway, very little atmosphere, poor lighting, sound wasn't great - otherwise OK! Forum: Noticeboard
I gave this one a miss this time around as Sonata Arctica were playing London on the same night and I hadn't seen them before. Very glad I did as Temple Balls in support were absolutely amazing (amazeballs some may say!) and Sonata Arctica very good too. Excellent night and hope to see Temple Balls again very soon Forum: Noticeboard
Also saw Cyhra with Battle Beast and had been enjoying the album beforehand. Unfortunately the sound wasn't at its best where we were (sitting at the back due due old age and injury) but even so they still kicked my backside as did the brilliant Battle Beast Forum: Noticeboard
Mine arrived yesterday too - not had a chance to listen yet. Another of those bands that I've seen that sound better live than in the studio in my opinion but lets see if this one can change my mind. Forum: Noticeboard
For me he falls into that category of artists who is absolutely incredible live but whose studio output can be a little hit or miss. I think I last saw him in the UK after the afraid of ghosts release. I wasn't a fan of the album (though understand the reasons why it was how it is) but his one man live show was absolutely killer. Does anyone know is Paul still in Arena?
I agree the latest album is the weakest of their 3 but still has its moments. i've always preferred them live than on album in any case - absolutely killer harmonies. Anyway I'm sure you will all enjoy the Christmas single complete with kids choir. Forum: Noticeboard
At The O2 they curtain off parts of the top tier. For the first time I've seen them have different (general seating not platinum or any such wheeze) price levels for different areas in Level 1 (actually a fair idea). Have booked a couple of seats as it wasn't too expensive despite the ridiculous fees as usual. Foreigner and Europe are always great so they are worth the money even if Whitesnake ma Forum: Noticeboard
Signed up to head for Gothenburg as it looks a good all around line up and then willl catch them in cardiff too given there is no London date Forum: Noticeboard
I was at the game Thursday and Friday and heard the thud of the ball into Burns' hand when he caught Siddle from where I was sitting - incredible catch Forum: Noticeboard
ah but the game that didn't finish with a positive result was much more likely to be an England victory than an australian one so i would say you were saved by the English weather! Forum: Noticeboard
