Been revisiting both albums lately, what a great band. Sure wish I could have seen them in concert, I don't believe they ever played too many dates in Canada. What are everyones thoughts about Backlash compared to their first album? I thought it had some great songs on it, shame they disbanded so soon after it..did they even tour at all after it was released?

Great topic. Love Slang and still do. VOR from Harem Scarem was evolving from Mood Swings IMHO...that title track blew my mind when I first heard it. But yeah the whole album was a shift to heavy (ier) I think I need to revisit Winger Pull

Back for Another taste....my favorite Helix album, followed by WITS and LWTH. That string of albums was a great trio IMHO...Razors Edge was my introduction to them and I liked a few songs, but I think LWTH is what really got me to to them. One of the few canadian bands still on my bucket list to see live actually.

Love this album....my first introduction to Starship. (Other than the Star Wars holiday special......yeah.) I remember picking it up and not knowing much about them at the time , other than We Built and Nothings Gonna... Was surprised in a good way...I also remember trying to get my friends to listen to it...tough sell...until once they heard it.

...but really really liked Quiet Riots run of Metal Health/ Condition Critical/ QRIII At the time all 3 were up there for me. Loved all 3 albums equally. Now I see how CC was not the quality of MH, but the 12 year old me didn't care lol. QRIII was also panned from what I can remember , but I loved it !

...in discussing JJ and Survivor on a thread below, I started thinking about who had a great Trilogy run of albums...ones that I love all three and they are very close in quality etc... I know it's based on opinion, but what "3 in a row" albums would you rate highly for yourself? I have a few 1) Survivor (VS/WSC/THTS) 2) Journey (E/F/ROR) 3) Night Ranger (MM/7W/BL) 4) Honey

I saw Myles and Sass (separate shows) I think around 1997 on a club tour in Abbotsford BC, enjoyed them both but Sass was my favorite, great show! My only time to see her live. Also caught Rik Emmett in a small acoustic set in a guitar shop in Abbotsford along the same time. It was soooooo good. Only like 60 people there (as much as the shop could hold) Also saw Loverboy just after "S
