Totally agree with you. Even though I liked Default, I couldn't believe how much I loved Jumped Right in. (The next few albums are good too)

Very excited for this tour...however its unlikely they will play western canadian dates. Collective Soul is always awesome, but I have never seen Tonic live.

I was late(ish) to the table with Heart. Only got into them around 87...got ST and Bad Animals very close together..liked them both. Of course Brigade was awesome..and that tour was fantastic! I also really enjoyed Desire Walks on...more than most from what I understand. What I find interesting is how much Heart dislikes this era, which I only found out through this message board lol Even i

Similar story for me...saw them on Much Music with "Slowly Slipping away "....was immediately interested in them...wrote their name on a VHS tape (?) So i wouldn't forget them. I did enjoy the debut, especially "Something to Say"...maybe I should revisit it.

...I may be late to the game, but pretty excited they have new music out there again. One of my favorite bands, I sure did enjoy Monsters Under the Bed and Dreamland..a couple of their less known albums (I think?) I would also add.in Johnnie Dee solo album too...Songs in Dee also...very underrated as well IMHO Any thoughts on those albums?

Nemesis was one of my favorite TNG movies (although I know its highly disliked in mainstream)....and I just watched the reboot last night with my Son for the first time, really enjoy that one too. I may have to check Picard out.

Interesting enough...other than Something to say and Hard to Love acoustic..I rarely revisit the first album. Of course Mood Swings blew the doors wide open and I maybe in the minority, but I enjoyed Rubber and BBT. There are no weak album IMHO, but the debut and Hope is what I listen to the least.

The albums United, Weight of the World, and of course Mood Swings IMHO would give you a good start... ...but that could be a whole other thread ;0)

.....what is the best way to support the band, when buying the CD? I do want the physical CD, but I always wonder what helps them out the most? Amazon? Frontiers? CD Japan? I always like buying the music at the artists shows, as I feel that is the best, but I don't think they will be out in Western Canada anytime soon...maybe? ;0) Thanks!

I think I may need to stop reading these threads.....I am even more excited to hear this album in its entirety! Could United actually be duplicated and maybe even surpassed??

Yup I have that version (and EP) too..thanks for the heads up though! What really made me fall in love with that song was the version with the Atlantic Symphony orchestra...I watched the DVD and then revisited the Youth album and thought..."how did I miss this!??" ;0)

.....to see them have 3 Canadian dates scheduled, now I just wish they would come do a couple shows out in Western Canada. I know on Harrys live chat a while back he mentioned a possibility of something out this way. Heres hoping and fingers crossed! Super excited for the new album

ALAE is probably what I revisit the most ..but of course the first 2 were played a lot when released....which I liked them both, even being more of a Van Hagar fan. Skyscraper had some excellent songs on it, but overall was weaker to Eat em and smile IMHO

.....how can "United" be matched.....or even beat??? ;0) I love all things HS...been a fan since day 1. I have enjoyed every album, Yes I think Ultra Feel was a great CD. This band never disappoints. Its a tall order saying the new album is as good as United. However if anyone can do it again, these guys can. I can't wait!
