although i really love the singers voice,this mellow ,slow phased stuff,works best in small portions ,i love some songs here and there ,but a whole album is to much even for me . thanks for responding again Carl .

i love Avantasia when they slow down a little,basic powermetal is a style i find pretty boring,so not really for me,but i still have hope for the album. when NFO lost their main songwriter it seems like they lost that special something in their songs ,at least from what i have heard from the new one. that Slama song was pretty average to my ears.

as i said earlier ,they are among my top 3 ever ,but a couple of years ago they played in my hometown . i skipped it ,i refuse to hear him slaugther the songs i have loved since my early teens. the only band i know of ,that have retired at the top is my all time fav band Runrig. very refreshing indeed,most seems to only chase the money and cant get enough of it .

it hurts to say this ,but he hasn't had a singing voice the last 20 years, and his voice in his heydays was one among my favs,so i think it is time to retire,or start writing challenging songs ,and hire someone that can sing them,so he can only concentrate on the flute.

one among my top bands of all time,and the song is decent enough,but he must adapt his songwriting to his non existent voice nowadays,and the result is pretty samey and fairly boring,no dynamic at all with his talk singing imho.
