The original line up of Queensrÿche. But I gave up on that particular dream a long time ago.

I really like their cover of Careless Whisper. Not totally sold on the other songs here though.

I totally understand that it’s not an avoidable option for some, mate. It’s very much the last public transport option I’d use though. In the U.K. a bus is basically a mobile dentist waiting room…

I’m English. Queuing is ingrained in our psyche. If you’re trying to cut into a queue that I’m in then you’re getting challenged. The last holiday we had to Italy nearly gave me a nervous breakdown at the airport. You stand patiently in line and just before you’re due to board the aircraft there’s a surge of people at the last minute that just rush the gate. I couldn’t fucking be

Along with talking, using phones and being a tall c*nt that gets in the way please also add concertgoers that just get blind drunk. WHY?? People…I’m not a fan. Barely anyone these days is aware and/or cares about others around them. Respect and consideration are now barely present. Honestly, don’t get me started.

If only he’d do a couple of Tall Stories songs. All The Way is an okay song, I didn’t like it as track 2 on Arrival though…but Live And Breathe and especially Kiss Me Softly are infinitely better.

QuoteTamburlaine I support you more than most and you know what I mean… Regardless of anything else, there is absolutely no reason for that comment to be made in the context of the thread.

I think the ‘time and place’ of your first ‘in’ with any band really does have a huge impact, mate. Definitely.

As much as I love(d) Martin Birch, I think Maiden stayed with him for too long. How you go from the great sonics of Killers and NotB to the paper thin SiT and SSoaSS is something I’ve never been able to fathom. Maybe the change in drumming style from Clive to Nico was a factor?

I have never liked anything about that album. The disconnect with Maiden began with SiT and I never hooked back onto the wagon until Brave New World. Something about the sound on ‘Seventh…’ really doesn’t connect with me. In all honesty Maiden have never had the fullest sound and this album in particular is where I find it at its worst. Again, just my personal opinion. The sound, the s

Well, it’s teeny pop so I’m not sure what was expected. It’s done well and it’s FAR from the worst cover song I’ve ever heard…and it’s infinitely better than that Silent Lucidity monstrosity.
