I totally agree with the comments here about country acts. I was getting disillusioned with some of the rock I'd always loved and about ten years ago started to get along to country shows. Keith Urban, Martina McBride (now that's a singer), Sugarland etc and was totally blown away by the quality. Usually, when someone is massive you can sorta figure out why...but Michael Buble is a total mystery to me. The gurning, the dance moves (cough) the voice especially is frankly woeful. We've all seen cabaret singer do a better job on Sinatra tunes. Shockingly awful on every level.

Never warmed to Twisted on record with the exception of the Ruff Cutts EP, but I was lucky enough to be at the Marquee when they first came over and they were a force of nature. Just incredible. The documentary about the early days of the band is on Netflix for anyone who's not seen it. Definitely worth a look.

I enjoyed the book and felt K.K. just told it as he remembered it. A few quotes always help to sell a book which is the name of the game after all. His relationship with Glenn was always complicated, to put it mildly, but I guess all bands probably have that inner turmoil.
