I know the Trillians website has it listed, but Tramp's website says he is playing Jillys on that night and when I popped into Trills yetserday there was no posters or details anywhere to be seen..

Yeah November is getting very crowded tour date wise... add on to what was mentioned above tours from Wednesday 13 of the Murderdolls, LA Guns, Motorhead/Sepultura, the tail end of the Bryan Adams run, the beginning of The Darkness tour, Machine Head, WASP, add in dates from newer bands such as Hell Is For Heroes, Hundred Reasons and then the start of Blink 182, Status Quo tours. There simply is

LA Guns are hitting the UK for some shows in November. Of the dates so far confirmed the band are playing Dudley JB's on 5th November. Yet again this is a scheduling conflict with the Tyketto show not a million miles away at Wolverhampton on the same day. Rock shows seem to be like buses these days......

A ticket agency in the UK is advertising the following dates for the Darkness' arena tour (allegedly supportted by Ash and possibly the Wildhearts) in November: 24/11/04 Nottingham Arena Nottingham 29/11/04 Newcastle Telewest Arena Newcastle 01/12/04 MEN Arena Manchester 04/12/04 Hallam FM Arena Sheffield 06/12/04 Cardiff Arena Cardiff 07/12/04 NEC Arena Birmingham 10/12/04 Wembley Arena L

Got the album on Tuesday. Having listened to it three or four times now, it certainly seems oveall to be a stronger release IMO than 'Every Second Counts' or 'Back Into Your System'. There are definitely leanings towards the 80's sound in Saliva's music. To my mind some of the riffs and arrangements, especially on the first three or four tacks could quite easily have been on Skid Row's 'Slave TO

Andrew, very interestinf comment. If one was suspicious it could be taken to mean that The Gods isn't happening at JBs but could be at another venue... www.dieseldahl.com specifically lists THT playing the Gods Festival in Birmingham on 14th November, however as per numerous posts on this board all official knowledge of such an event has been denied. Curiouser & Courieser.......

if anyone cares to take a look at the JB's website (www.jbsdudley.co.uk) they will find a listing for a little event on Sunday 14th November called 'The Gods Of AOR'. Could this possibly be what I think it is?

Brilliant news indeed... Kieran (or anybody else for that matter), have you any idea how we could go about getting tickets for the Tyketto show in Bilbao, as we are thinking of going to that show this time around rather than Madrid as we have done in the past.

JSS live is a must (might even have to miss a Tyketto date to catch a show or two). He simply rocked the hell out of the Gods both in '02 & '03. Hopefully something can be aranged date wise to stop gigs clashing and then both bands can get the packed out venues they thoroughly deserve. If anyone hasn't got it then I would seriously recommend the JSS Queen Concert CD Jeff has for sale via his

I realise that tours have to be booked around both venue and band availabilty etc, however in a smallish market, such as the melodic rock scene, having two gigs (Tyketto and JSS) in such close proximity to each other on the same night must be tantamount to suicide. Surely both bands will strip paying punters away from each other, who otherwise would have attended both shows. This can only harm

Papa Roach album is due out Aug 30th in the UK, although not certain of release dates in other territories. The band also play three UK shows at the end of September. And talking of Saliva (as the original post does) their new CD 'Survival Of The Sickest' is released in the UK August 16th I believe. The snippets I have heard from the record sound rather good..

Probably going to buck the trend here, however IMHO the best and most consistent Crue album was the S/T release with Corabi on vocals. Guess if the band do reunite then we won't be hearing any of those tunes played. Anyway top 5 songs would be: 1) Misunderstood 2) Wildside 3) Power To The Music 4) ten Seconds To Love 5) On With The Show I always thought that Vince's best work was outside of the

Totally agree, we walked in maybe five minutes after the gig was due to start and it took another five minutes to realise that actaully it had and it wasn't just background music playing through the PA.. Still the gig was truly worthwhile simply to get the chyance to see Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, Tony McAlpine, Matt Bisonnette and Joe Satriani.

Just picked this book up yesterday at Waterstones in Newcastle and eventually got to sleep at about 5.00am this morning after reading it cover to cver. It is seriously one good read if you are a metal fan in your mid thirties and grew up with whole hair metal/glam metal phenomena. Just reading it brought back memories of similar situations etc in my life. Guarateed you will wince, guaranteed you
