The entire Savatage Album - Edge of Thorns (just check out the title track and solo for a taste). After that, it's gotta be - Don't Tell Me (What Love can do) by VH.

The song is in the right direction, but honestly, the guitar tone has a lot to be desired. Shame to miss on that alone.

I will definitely give it a listen, but that clip is nowhere near the amazingness of the 1990 video.

Hilarious, I never even realized they were the same track. I show them to my wife and she's like, "Dear, they're the same song, that's why they are identical" LOL. Getting old sucks.

I randomly came across this song my kid was listening to and I was shocked that I "knew" it and finally it came to me. Her Pop song was just Bon Jovi Saturday night gave me Sunday morning. Then as I went to look this up online, even more to my surprise is how exact this pop song matches Nickel Back "Gotta Be Somebody". Can you just rent the music and call it your own? LO

Actually, yes I did see Max Webster when they reunited in Oakville in 1996. It was a free show. You can see it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D27l-eX6tQE But I'm definitely more of a KM fan direct than MW.

Being a local, Kim Mitchell is around here playing Live all the time. I never tire of him. Itch is his best Album, with Ain't Life Amazing a very very close second. He's a Canadian Classic. I only wish he spent more time recording as time between albums is far far far too long, especially with his talent. The heart attack he had a few years ago probably really kicked him down, but he's back n

I've never heard of these places to buy from. Looks like their streaming services (Qobuz isn't available in Canada apparently), but I don't want to stream, I want to have the file direct.

H.E.A.T released their single Back to Life earlier this summer, but I can only find mp3 versions. Is there a way to get a Lossless version (FLAC/ALAC)?

Yes, and it's starring Ewan McGregor too. It was announced in September 2019....pre pandemic. Ah...those days.

Albums with 9-10 songs would be fine if a band released stuff every 2 years. But 14-16 songs for every 5 years or more, even that is a ripoff.

Wardy, if you do manage something, than I'd be very happy. Foobar2000 is able to convert CDs into FLAC and it's free.

The problem with that release, Bass, is that it's not the remastered as that was released in 1996. The remasters are after 2002. I do have the remastered 320 kbps version, but am now looking at getting everything, remastered, in FLAC/ALAC/WAV Lossless, and it's the only track I can't get. But thanks.

I'm a huge Savatage fan, but one thing has eluded me and was wondering if anyone out here can help. I just can not seem to get a hand on a lossless (FLAC OR ALAC) version of their Japanese bonus track "Shotgun Innocence". Especially if it's from any of the remastered versions of their albums after 2002 (2010, 2014 etc..). If anyone can hook me up, that would be amazing. Sorry if thi

There is just no contest. FUCK is one of two of my all time favourite albums. So VH it is. But also, other than some songs on and off, nothing DLR ever did was much of a stand out.

I believe it's most likely because they are Canadian. Yes yes, there are a few huge Canadian bands, but if they just don't get that lucky break in the US, then it's just another loss. I could name many that just never made it huge (though obviously some more than others). I Mother Earth Our Lady Peace Kim Mitchell Harem Scarem Honeymoon Suite Billy Talent The Headstones Sure they had
