Funny, I would not call fingerprints a ballad. It's very much designed to sound and play out like "Hotel California". The solos are completely framed that way. Just because the lyrics call for leaving fingerprints through your hair, doesn't make it a ballad either. So....one ballad. :)

The title track is totally at the record company and nothing to do with Richie. Listen to the very obvious lyrics. On that note, it's is painfully obvious that Richie is not on this album. Without his tone, feel, and voice, it's a Jon solo record. David and Tico are just session players, as always. But once you get past that, it's not the worst album, especially given what it was designe

Exactly....however, very few bands can get better than two albums in a row that is perfect, so it was bound to happen.

Sadly, it's kind of "meh". Not terrible, but no return to form or something very new like A Matter of Life and Death

Yeah. That's what I said. He uses a tele typically on the neck pickup and has distorted clean vibes. Listen to KTF again. listen to TD. Listen to Crush. He's a blues based player. I never said country music (but even that's debatable after LH).

All of them are missing Richies trademark voice/harmonies and his blues country guitar. They're good ( not top notch) but lacking. Ritchie's touch made BJ.

Welcome part 2 was a seriously great album. I love it, my kids love it, how much better can that get? Great guitars, lots of layers, lots of styles, but all true to Alice without sounding old, dated, and 1970's. Win win win...

Personally I think Tate is a tool, a half crazy one at that. But, I was pleasantly surprised with this song. It's actually pretty OK. Why didn't he right stuff like this with QR in the past 15 years? Of course, it's just one song, and maybe the rest are all crap...only time will tell.

Yup, only 9 songs, and I can only really take Runaway. The live ballad version of Runaway on the Crush tour BLOWS the original away too, IMHO. Otherwise I'm pretty much good with everything they've ever released, with the exception of The Circle and the terrible WTF is this What About Now!

Other than the fact that him leaving is "factual", it is of no real interest on the GnR front anyways. They weren't doing anything. The only hopeful news is that, by leaving, he will focus more on Sixx:AM, and that is exciting. Mordern Vintage was simply stellar.

I've had no issue with any BonJovi release up until The Circle. Everyone says the "post 2000" BJ, but really, BJ reinvented themselves with Crush. Bounce kinda sucked, and then the fabulous HAND album, and *ducks from thrown tomatoes*, Lost highway was pretty good for a summer beach and driving album. That takes us to 2007. But after that they got stuck in the formulaic writting of

Oh absolutely, I'm a fan of all of Def Lep (Slang is the lowest, and still acceptable). On Through the Night is just fun old Rock. I'm fortunate enough to enjoy everything that Def Leppard puts out. I only wish they put music out more often.

Euphoria is still the best album they have ever come up with. Beats Hysteria hands down. I'd take Euphoria and X, then Hysteria next. Sparkle Lounge actually had a great opener with "Go"

Dude, you kidding me? The idea of cutting off pieces of his body and placing them on a shelf for a conversation....over tea? It's actually so sick that it's beautiful. So nope, I don't cringe.

Favourite band, and Favourite album (well, Gutter Ballet is tied). Very few albums in my opinion are perfect, from top to bottom. Edge of thorns is one of them....not a bad song...not one.

I know, I hate to say it, because I miss Ratt so much, but Blotzer may just have found the right singer if Pearcy just won't do it. Pull a Queensryche...which is phenomenal....

Classic Sammy is what we all like.... And he was asked, so he answered. He didn't have to, that's true, but then again why not? Free speech right? Plus...DLR does sound terrible. It's not about how well he dances on stage.

Yup. Canada day, July 1, 1993 in Barrie Ontario, they played Unchained with Haggar. Simply the best show with VH ever. And I was front row the whole time. Bobcat Goldwaith was MC. ALANAH Myles, Kim Mitchell, and Vince Neil with Steve Stevens. Amazing day. I don't understand why so many people don't know about them playing unchained with Hagar.

And the number of comments by a certain few definately make up the vast majority of comments. It's almost too much of a clique. Very few, if any at all, follow ups happen on posts or threads of the non-clique posters. That would reduce the number of members who are willing to post as well.
