To follow on from the topic below, there must be many great live acts who shouldn't make any studio albums. My two nominations are Peter Frampton and Widespread Panic. Both superb live acts who have failed to make a studio album that grabs me, despite having the songs.

I will help, but only after I'm sure my job is secure I'm afraid. As soon as my boss confirms that Covid-19 isn't going to f*ck up our lives I'll donate!! Please keep up the good work, and if you are able, please help Andrew out.

Panic Room currently "between guitarists" as (The ) Dave Foster's solo career and work with Steve Rothery has sadly taken him away from the band, but I'm hoping for news soon. Never really listened to much Karnataka. Last September Matt Cohen pit together a Reasoning line up to play a farewell gig in Bilston, but perhaps obviously Rachel wasn't involved. Twas a fab day mind!!

Both bands are on a real great streak at the moment, I suppose you could say they're in a purple patch (sorry). Don Airey has revitalised DP, the proggier edge he has given them works very well. They have also taken to writing songs that Ian Gillan sounds good in with his remaining vocal abilities, just a shame that concert goers seem to demand he "screams" out the oldies.
