Alpha is a great album but that's because I love the Wetton/Downes songwriting team. Steve Howe got put in a diminished capacity both songwriting and playing wise. That solo on Midnight Sun is a magnificent piece of work.

Donn Landee? Thought he fell out with Ed after OU812 (tho Ed in interviews downplayed it saying 'we needed a change...'. The book is excellent. Memorials from his family, friends and cohorts. They even reached out to Mandy Meyer who probably hadn't seen John in decades after Astra was recorded.
