Nothing like politics to bring out the unbridled hate in a person, huh? Politicians of both parties are only out for themselves.

Poor guys look like their scrunched on stage. I did a little more digging on the Toto lawsuit with Jeff Porcaro's widow and while nothing official was given it's thought she snags 5 percent of the gross when the Toto name is used. Poor Luke is proverbially between a rock and a hard place. The thing that would make him the most money cuts him deep. Too bad they go out as the Lukather/William

Record company issues are probably a part of it. Who knows who owns what at this point. Boston & Don't Look back were on Epic which today is owned by Sony. Third Stage & Walk On were on MCA which today is owned by Universal Music Group. Corporate America was on Artemis which I think went through acquisitions and name changes and was part of a bankruptcy. Life, Love & Hope

The Zappa family and the family of Prince certainly have no problem raiding the vast vaults to make some cash.

Epic Kee guitar solo. Sometimes I wonder what Europe would have sounded like keeping both John Norum & Marcello.

It's an odd turn for him. He's been going on the whole time since Pat Torpey passed on how Mr Big should end if Pat's not around.

Jughead with Ty Tabor, Derek Sherinian & the Bissonette brothers is insanely good but they got slammed by Archie Comics for the name and now they can't even sell the cd. Heavy Bones Katmandu Randy Jackson's China Rain Airtime (with Triumph's Rik Emmett) Shaw-Blades (Going with this as the second album was a covers cd) Toy Matinee (I don't count the Richard Page fronted 3rd Matinee...

The greatest hits Unboxed has some good unreleased and soundtrack songs. Can't go wrong with 'Winner Takes It All'. Fun story I read in John Wetton's autobiography. That song was done via 'cattle call' or they have a bunch of people sing it and pick who they like best but in this case they did by key so Wetton walks in and they say "are you the C' and he goes 'No, I'm the A'. Obviously H

One of my favorite acoustic guitar songs and solos to play. Always laugh when I have to pluck the open E string HARD (In Paul's case the guitar got to close to the mic when he plucked the string).

Her husband of apparently more than twenty something years is a multi millionaire and was the CEO of Tupperware. What does she need money for Luke & Paich for? She still held a stake in the band left by Jeff to her but it's not like not having it was going to break her.

Since Luke had to pay the Toto wives so much just to use the name he should make them come on tour and move road cases or something. :D

I love me some Triumph but yes don't ask for a new record. Gil Moore hasn't played drums regularly in years.

Great stuff as always from Tony Lewis & John Spinks. I'd hope this wasn't the last of it but the album name kind of implies it is.

To be honest, I hope Devo gets in. Love me some Devo. The Go-Go's deserve as the first 'all girl group' to have a #1 album but the head of the hall aka the guy who publishes Rolling Stone allegedly had a grudge against the band for many years over their non-plussed reaction to their RS cover. Fun fact. He still hates Toto.

Shame the band has to break up, shame George Kooymans ended up with this affliction (ALS is also what Jason Becker has had for many years) and shame such a great band is generally only known for either 'Radar Love' or 'Twilight Zone'. https://ultimateclassicrock.com/golden-earring-break-up-als/

Saying 'irreplaceable' is conjecture, isn't it? Yes without Steve Howe can still be Yes but a different kind of Yes. I do like Trevor Rabin but Steve Howe's barbs at him from the Union tour are always funny. 'He's playing where there should be no playing!' Triumph without Rik Emmett is another example. Phil X is no Rik Emmett so Triumph's last studio album didn't really sound like Triumph asi

It's his opinion. I don't agree with it but it's his to have. He didn't like EVH. Life goes on regardless. I remember when you could have an opinion on anything and weren't attacked at any level for it.

The deal with Yes is you can only use the name Yes when you're in Yes. This came up in 1989 when Anderson Bruford Wakeman & Howe happened.

Producers get points as part of working on albums, sometimes taking more points and less cash so he probably sold his points. In Ted Templeman's book he wrote he got 2 points for Van Halen 1 and the band got 1 point to share 4 ways.
