When I see something posted here from YouTube I usually hit play and ignore the visuals. I want to hear the artist and not be distracted by a video, which these days is most

I recorded an acoustic version of of one of my favorite White Sister songs in my little lab. 36 years after the original...how time flies. I was 23 years old when I first sang this...a bit of a challenge at 59 but a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy it! Cheers DCD https://youtu.be/7nU5V5xIPQk

Thanks for the kind comments folks. I'm having fun covering songs while learning my way around the Logic software and figuring out how to create something listenable. I picked this song after hearing it on the radio recently and realizing there's a good song there buried in...well just buried. I tried to shed some light on it! Cheers D

I really don't like twitter. That said, I follow a select few accounts for sports and music news. Congrats to Andrew for getting a response from Neal Schon on a comment about the Journey song Hard To Let It Go. Cheers Andrew, not a bad social media day :) D https://twitter.com/MelodicRock/status/1547459751860371456?s=20&t=3PeNdqgQAl8WV1Y1ED9z8Q

wow, the "way back" machine! I recorded that vocal with Joel Goldsmith producing. We were in the studio recording WS2 and Joel had a couple of songs to finish for that movie and I needed rent money so, yeah. Tris Imboden on drums, Kevin Dukes on guitar. First time I recorded outside of WS. Rick was not happy about it...but he wasn't paying my rent!

Its no bait and switch scam. Several songs are soaked in reverb...really odd. Im loving "Live To Love Again" currently. Arnel sounds great on that one IMO

Not sure just yet, digital release first then we'll gauge interest and look at CDs. This is completely home-grown and out of our pocket. Zero label interest.

The single REAL ME from Stan Cotey and I is out today! The project is called 12:06...a completely independent release from a couple of guys who just wanted to create some music. No record company (nobody would touch it) no management, no backing. All recorded in our respective home studios. Stan was with Kevin Gilbert in Giraffe and hasn't released anything in many years. He's a freakin guitar

We're under so much pressure now to listen and conform to the opinions and beliefs of others. Political mudslinging, fact checking, religion, sexual orientation...we're losing sight of how to live our own live's. This song is my plea to the world. How about you live your life, and I'll live mine? We can actually like different things and pray in different churches, lean right or left...and still

Really odd mix, verb on everything. I like the groove a lot but IMO would be much groovier without the lame organ parts. I bet JSS could have really done some bluesy Vox on this. Don't hate.
