I'm just wondering if it'd be possible to get hold of Firefest T-shirts before the event by mail-order? Then I can show my Firefest T-shirt with pride on the train up to Nottingham (providing it's not minus 10 degrees by then). Actually, blue (not navy) would be a nice change from the usual boring black T-shirts......

I was in Leicester Square last night (before the Stormtroopers arrived for the Star Wars marathon), and in the Trocadero I was amazed to hear the strains of "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes! I soon realised it was the new dance remix that's been released, but the original is so good, even that couldn't spoil it.

You're right Al. I'm in Exeter too, and apart from the bigger acts playing the Plymouth Pavilions, there's nowhere to go within an hours drive. What it needs down here is someone like Ray Bipsham to set up a Limelight type club, like he did in Crewe....

It's different, but I grew into it after I saw the fantastic live show at the Astoria in London. "We Play the Game" is classic APP, and "More Lost Without You" bobbles along well. A lot of the other stuff is instrumental, but not quite in the rock/keyboard style of the older APP albums - it's a lot more ambient (however, "Return to Tunguska" features Dave Gilmour on

Just to let those in the north of England know that the Limelight Club in Crewe has just opened it's new Music Cafe, and that the 2nd & 4th Saturdays every month will be a dedicated AOR rock night disco, with occasional guest bands.
