Andrew, Thanks very much for the 2 Jon Anderson vids on MR-X! I'm a bit of a completist when it comes to JA (got most bootlegs). I have the 80s Yes videos on DVD, but none of his solo videos, so this really helps my collection. Thanks mate!

Just wondering if anyone knows if the "new" Blue Tears CD, "Mad, Bad & Dangerous 2" will be available to buy at Firefest? I could be wrong but I'm sure when Gregg was interviewed on ARFM he said it'd be available there first....

Well, that was a turnup for the books - I didn't expect to see a photo of Dare in the same magazine as Patrick Moore, but there they were! Dr Brian Cox (particle physicist, & presenter of the BBC's Stardate programme) was featured in an interview, and mentioned the 5 years he spent in Dare as keyboard player until a "Spinal Tap type argument" in bar in Cologne caused the band to sp

Yeah, I thought "We Play The Game" had the most "Project" feel of the tracks on "A Valid Path", and it's a pity it wasn't on the Live DVD. There were some great tracks on "On Air" too - "Cloudbreak" was a great instrumental.

I'm an APP nut! I got all their albums after I first heard the track "Mammagamma" on holiday in 83 (I thought his instrumentals were excellent). He can rock as well though. There's "In The Real World" from the "Stereotomy" album, "Can't Take It With You" from "Pyramid", "Dr Tarr & Prof. Fether" from "Tales Of Mystery & Imagi

Oh yes, and if you haven't seen it - go to Alan Parsons official site (http://www.alanparsonsmusic.com/home.html) and you can buy the live in Madrid concert from last year on DVD (PAL only). Their current drummer, Steve Murphy (ex- Company Of Wolves) is excellent.

Hmm, almost an impossible question. I DO seem to be playing "Heartline" by Robin George a lot lately. It's got so much energy, and you need those stabbing keyboards in the background to make the ultimate AOR track, IMHO......

You can also use Streamripper, which works as an attachment to Winamp. It's freeware, and you just click record, and it'll start writing the show under a directory name, which it gets from the radio station's show title. It also preserves the ID3 name tag info from mp3s on the Shoutcast radio stations....

Last info I heard was when he played a charity gig ("Sincerely Sheffield") last year, with Def Leppard and Paul Carrack, amongst others. I think he still has the perm and Union Jack guitar. I quite liked him actually, but it's like he fell off the face of the planet (well, Yorkshire anyway)....

No, if you have to get a "Best Of", get "Essential Journey" over "Greatest Hits". It's 2 CD's compared to 1, and I got it for the same price!
