Gus mainly did the solo's and not much else - Churko does the bulk of the guitar work, that's why the album suffers IMO

No contest - STP - Amazing live band - Ive just seen their 2010 VH1 live show, they're at their peak on this tour. Meat can't sing live anymore, and his latest album stinks - STP are doing a greatest hits tour

A recent interview with Geezer Butler Ultimate-Guitar.com: You were the main lyricist in SABBATH. As you were writing, did you try and think about what types of words and phrases would seem natural when Ozzy sang them? Did you try and craft the lyrics around Ozzy's delivery and his particular way of singing? Geezer: It was trial and error. I wrote the lyrics that I wanted to write and then I'd

Ozzy's vocal melodies are instantly identifiable and classic, think of the melody over War Pigs or Goodbye To Romance or Mama I'm Coming Home. Vocal melodies are just as important as lyrics

Nobody's Fault kicks ass, Another Bad Day is good too, wish he added Promise Me as a bonus for people that havent heard it - outstanding song Desmond Child wrote for him, could have been a huge hit IMO

From the latest issue of Classic Rock magazine: http://www.classicrockmagazine.com Scott Gorham: "Hey, this is all Joe Elliott's fault. let me explain. I never stopped wanting to do Thin Lizzy. There was a pause while I decided how I wanted to do this again. With Sykes it all got a little too metal, and we took some flak for that, because people wanted to hear Lizzy more the way it was,

I feel really bad for the younger fans of music today as they will never have what our generation had. There is no one to look up to with these future bands. These kids will not have a Dio, a Judas Priest, a Dean Martin or a Beatles. Think of what is out there now

yeah you missed my point, my main point was the timing. Ive got no problem with Jorn doing a tribute to Dio, I know he's a huge fan, I just think they could have waited a while to at least put out this press release. I said ''it looks like a cash in'' and I also said ''I'm sure he's intentions are good''

179. Re: Jorn
I mean for gods sake, the man hasn't even been buried yet, and they send out this press release! No thought at all. Ive just checked around alot of metal and rock message boards most fans are as disgusted as I am I WILL NOT BUY THIS (That guitarist in his band that thinks he's Zakk Wylde needs to go, he annoys the fuck out of me, I can't watch the Jorn dvd because of him!)

Seems like he is releasing a tribute album this soon so he beats everyone else to the punch. Much to soon. Does not seem like a class move to me. Frontiers should be ashamed of themselves. I'm a Jorn fan (I thought his last 2 albums were his worst) obviously this has been in the works for a while - Has he run out of ideas? That song was awful. I think Frontiers and Jorn are going to cop some fla
