Bob Rock? His production is horrible, and bottom end heavy. Shanks is a great producer and does very natural sounding work.

Great interview, 3 cheers to Kevin Shirley for making them do a real rock album with minimal overdubs. Too many records in the genre sound like ass because of too much the overdubbing and effects.

Both Burning Rain albums are great, I prefer the self-titled. It's also the best work Aldrich has done to date. But yeah you will dig em if you dig the first Lynch Mob album. The second one was horrible IMO
