Now now I get that Adam Lambert's voice might not be to your liking but to call him talentless is just factually incorrect. He is an extremely good singer - his voice control is incredible. For the record I have seen them with both Lambert and Rodgers. Wembley Arena 2008 with Paul Rodgers and it was one hell of a show. With Lambert in Sweden last year - good but very sterile, concert being in

I just turned 30 so I missed this magnificent band during their heyday, but the past week I have been digging into their stuff and wow... I've been missing out. So many excellent tunes and I have only scratched the surface. From power pop perfection a'la Seven Wonders to heart-breaking songs like Landslide, I've been blown away over and over hearing many of them for the first time. Their trou

I love There Was A Time. Great lyrics and a sublime outro guitar solo.

I even think Balance Of Power is underrated even though it is not classic ELO as such. It has got some great pop tunes. So Serious, Getting To The Point, Calling America...

Thought the trailer looked good - anybody seen it? Movie comes out in May. Just saw this live performance with the man himself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzWSEtahHus I did not know Taron could sing that well, this has made me even more interested in the movie. He sings the song himself in the movie.

The mix is fine and I usually get really put off by bad production. Have only listened to it once so far but sounds good. Love The Raven Child and Moonglow's infectious chorus is a real grower.

a-ha are underrated, they have made some quality, well-written pop tunes.

Steel Bars is a great song. Best thing he did was the collab with Lonely Island - Jack Sparrow.

I LOVED AC/DC with Axl, he did a hell of a job. I'd like an album with that constellation, call it what you want.

Been listening on full volume. Good sound, great live band. Stunning version of Don't Wake The Lion, one of my all-time favourite songs.

It is hard to make it out clearly with that audio but it doesn't sound like it to my ears. Compare it to this performance for TV or DVD where there is more obvious pitch correction on the vocals. https://youtu.be/lHau0L8ULN4

Appreciate the cause but that is an awful, awful song even not factoring in the uneven vocal performances. Lackluster instrumentation, inane lyrics and a cringeworthy chorus.

Going on from the previous discussion of Queen-members solo work - Brian May just released his first proper solo song in almost 20 years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3Jm5POCAj8 New Horizons - to celebrate the most distant spacecraft flyby in history. 6,5 billion square metres from Earth! Really liking this tune! The vocal harmonies, the guitar, the pulsating drive...

All my longest shows have been Bruce Springsteen. Longest was 4 hours in 2016 at Ullevi Gothenburg, one of the longest of his career. Phenomenal every single time.

That's a great song. Lyrics are always important to me but I've grown to quite like Sammet's nonsensical, offbeat style. It is part of the equation that is Avantasia. Great vocals from Jorn.

Recorded this July during his Broadway-run, just came out on Netflix today. Solo show with acoustic guitar and piano, stories from his life and his wife Patti Scialfa guesting on two tracks. Well worth a watch - honest, real, funny and moving.

Yes it is brill, isn't it. Worth it for the extraordinary version of Soldier Of The Line alone. But the entire record is wonderful - it works so well because the songs have been reworked in a major fashion rather than just played straight with acoustic instruments.

I agree, Made In Heaven is underrated. It has some of Brian May's most tasteful guitar playing too.

Roger Taylor's solo stuff is the most consistent, the final The Cross album is great and I have a real soft spot for Electric Fire. Brian's two proper solo albums are hit and miss, but the good stuff on there is REALLY good. Songs like Resurrection, Too Much Love Will Kill You (his vocals suit the song much better than Freddie), Business... Great cover of All The Way From Memphis on Another Wo

Lost me when you called Queen Freddie's band. Freddie may have been possibly the best frontman of all time but Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon were equally responsible for their success. For God's sake they are the only band in history where each member has penned several #1-hits!

I agree with rocknut. Brian May and Roger Taylor are world class musicians and they still put on a great show. If they were all about milking the legacy they'd gotten a Freddie sound-a-like a'la Marc Martel. I saw Queen + Paul Rodgers at Wembley 2008 and it is still one of the best shows I have seen.
