The irony of it all is that the reunion with Duff and Slash axed the plans of releasing more material from the Chinese Democracy-era, another album was in the pipes in 2016 before they got back together. Hope the material will see the light of day sometime.

Well I dug this CD out for the first time in many moons and I know it is a polarizing one... gotta say though, it holds up extraordinarily well. I honestly think it is a masterpiece - there is a timeless quality to it. It's such an eclectic mix of songs that still come together as an album. So many standout tracks - from the infectious Better to the sublime There Was A Time that has one of my

Bruce is a genius and has put on the single best live gig I have ever seen (Gothenburg 2012 - 3 hours and 45 minutes!) I am a massive fan of all Bruce-eras. Western Stars was phenomenal.

Two for two in my opinion, liked the teaser earlier too. This one is a grower. I like the middle section with the harmony vocals.

Just getting into Marillion myself, great band. Basically all their stuff is on Spotify. I find the live releases in particular show what a great live act they are. I like the semi-acoustic Live at Cardogan Hall alot.

A good cause for sure but a horrible song. Lyrics like middle school poetry, way too ham-fisted to work for me.

Been listening to it for the last few days and I think it is an excellent record. I got the deluxe version, Confirmation Bias is a great song. "I love your hands... When they applaud my achievments" In Another Life and Heart Explodes are the best songs IMO.

Okay I really like this. Much more than Pinewood Smile. It is fun, quirky and catchy. I love when they play melodic guitar rock like In Another Life.

That's 3 outta 3 I have enjoyed so far from the new album. Heart Explodes is definitely the strongest of the bunch.

Supply and demand. Let's not pretend all the extra money is going directly into Queen and Adam Lambert's bank accounts, staging a tour on this scale surely is not cheap.

Haven't yet. Loved Cold but the other track before release didn't do much for me. I thought The Ninth Hour was really solid. Gonna check this one out later.

Heart Explodes is a great tune, been listening to it alot the last few days. To me the song of the year so far is the title track from Bruce Springsteen's Western Stars, just an incredible song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IXzAAKrsFE

So many Bruce Springsteen songs I could mention. Jungleland, Western Stars, Brothers Under The Bridge, The Wall but his very best is My Father's House IMO. Good shout with Telegraph Road by Dire Straits. Scenes From An Italian Restaurant by Billy Joel is another classic.
