Great call on Don't Leave My Now by Supertramp, one of my all-time favourites.

Also prefer the second CD, great one! Serial Killer is my favourite, one of Slash's very best solos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCF1OlQ2Nb8

Two brilliant albums now remastered with a third CD of outtakes in a boxset called Tales By Gaslight. Came out earlier this year but just found them on Spotify. Got some voiceovers which can be divisive but they are usually brief and tastefully done, and the music is incredible. Great production and strong melodic rock from top to bottom with some terrific performances from the guest vocalist

Saw him live once because my brother is a big fan. No denying he has talent, it was a good show. He's also hard to dislike since he seems to be a really down to earth guy, so all power to him. But his music is generally not for me even though some songs I enjoy.

I am a fan of all eras of Magnum even though their peak is unmatched. Good shout Wardy on Goodnight L.A, it's underrated. However, the co-written tracks are probably the weakest on the album. The Clarkin compositions are incredible - especially Only A Memory and Shoot. They also left off two absolute bangers in Where Do You Run To and Hanging Tree.

Quite like it to be honest. It's a stronger first taste than Not Forgiven from The Serpent Rings and that was a great CD. Some neat chord changes.

I like it, it's growing on me. I think both Little Things and Bumblebee are too overwrought, but I like all the other songs. The slice of everyday-life lyrics stumbles sometimes but other times they work really well I think. At the end of the day, it's not their best album but a worthy final bow out. Impressive how good both Agnetha and Anni-Frid still sound, they are in their mid 70's. @ro

Fun video and a decent tune. Nailed every single lyrical cliche, I guess that was the point. Hold on, set me free, burning inside, can you hear it calling, raise my hands to the sky, etc

Magnum is still putting out quality music and I'm a massive fan of their late era work, but the peak run of On A Storyteller's Night - Vigilante - Wings Of Heaven is an unreal tour de force.

Great performance but I prefer the Alchemy version. https://youtu.be/8Pa9x9fZBtY it's probably one of the greatest live performances ever put to tape. Knopfler at full power but also incredible drumming from Terry Williams.

Depends. Sometimes the song and how the lyrics are delivered by the singer can make it work a bit better than just reading the lyrics.

Agree about the cover. Looking forward to the album, The Serpent Rings was most excellent.

The Miracle is great - Innuendo too. I'm Going Slightly Mad is probably my favourite song after The Show Must Go On - delightfully odd. Even love Made In Heaven. Even though it's a Frankenstein's monster of things, it has some really good songs. It also sounds terrific and has some of Brian May's best guitar playing.

I thought the recent one by Billie Eilish was terrific. Also dig You Know My Name by Chris Cornell and Living Daylights by A-ha.

Didn't know they brought it back. I love Greg Davies but weird to see it without Phil Jupitus. The show also made me discover the genius of Bill Bailey, I was so sad to see him go (even though Noel Fielding was a solid replacement). The Lamar years were great but I also have a soft spot for the Simon Amstell series, thought his biting sarcasm was perfect for the job. Some truly classic moments

Will listen later, quite like what I have heard so far. Didn't like Fun On Earth much but Electric Fire from 1998 is a terrific album.

Ed is a talented guy who writes his own music, I respect that. He's got a few tunes I really like - actually saw him live a few years back with my brother who's a bigger fan than me - it was just Ed, a guitar and a loop pedal and it was a good gig. Plus he seems like a decent bloke so fair play to him.

Good tune, I like it alot. Way better than Absurd. I might be in the minority but I'd love to hear all the tracks from the Chinese Democracy sessions, there's reportedly like 3-4 albums of stuff.

Yeah I enjoyed the documentary. Phil is looking rough but he seems determined to give it his all. Some songs were a bit rough for sure but some sounded quite good. I think it was recordee last year so wonder how it will sound when the tour starts. Smart decision to get some backing vocalists. Great light show. I'd love to see the tour.

I know many here are fans of this wonderful series. This is the best 40 minutes I've spent in a good while - Rick is great as always and Brian May is such a humble, well-spoken guy, I could listen to him talk about music for ages. And Bohemian Rhapsody of course... a tune of the ages.

Love Elton. He's actually put out some pretty decent stuff this side of the millenium too, two favourites being The Captain & The Kid from 2006 and The Union with Leon Russell from 2010.

Great tune. A bit heavy-handed in the beginning but enjoyed the performance part with young and old Brian The remaster of the record is excellent, been listening to it alot since release.
