I was just being humorously ironic (noticed the smileys) and didn't mean to offent you, mate. Every second thread seems to be about this album, hence my comment. It's a good track.

Here's some Hannover/Hannover Fist (the album was released under both names). Besides Frank Zirone, the band also featured: Kim Hunt (Moxy) Chris Brockway (Wrabit) David Alpin (Wrabit, Lee Aaron) George Bernhardt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7RBYP11HzA

Forgotten gems indeed! Especially the first two! Bought the debut on vinyl when it came out! Also check out Hannover/Hannover Fist which features some of the guys. Another one that should be re-issued! The singer also had his own band Zero One (Frank Zirone - whitty!), which was not that great though.

Wow! Aren't there ANY other CDs released this month? Seems like everyone and his cousin has to start a thread to slag the new Journey album... It has probably been more dissected here than Bin Laden was by CNN. And, for the record, I like the album. Not their best at all, but still a good effort.

Since it wasn't mentioned on the CD I MUST tell everyone here, of course, that I guest on lead guitar on the Grand Design track. :-) Kinda funny story - Pelle Saether called me on the Friday night, asked me if I could do it. I said yes, when do you need it? Tomorrow, because we're mixing Sunday, he said. No problem, I said... until I remembered I had just upgraded my ProTools and hadn't re

You correctly identified 26 tunes (out of 26) on the Distorted Tunes Test. Congratulations! You have a fine sense of pitch. Thank you for taking the Distorted Tunes Test. More information about the the NIDCD's research into tone deafness is available from Dr. Dennis T. Drayna's web page.

Woooooow, man, you daredevil you!!! Speaking of Journey in positive terms is a highly touchy subject in this forum. Have you missed all the action in the previous thread(s)? ;-))))) Well, I however agree. It's a good album. I gave it 7/10 in my review.

Haven't seen/heard anyone do it. Lion's Share did "The Day The Earth Caught Fire". I'm thinking of doing "Machines" on the next Mountain Of Power actually.

It's a really good album, I agree. Anybody else notice that the verse of "She's A Mystery" sounds VERY much like Led Zeppelin's "Going To California"?

Saw Rick live in Oslo, Norway last year and I was SO impressed with his energy and how good he was live! Man, the dude is over 60!!!! Hope I'll have half his energy when I reach his age!

WoW! Cool! Didn't know about this one! "Top priority" is my absolute favourite and "Photofinish" not long after! This sounds great!! BTW. I did a cover of "Bad Penny/Keychain" on the second Mountain Of Power album, featuring guest vocals from Conny Bloom (Electric Boys) and Pontus Snibb (Bonafide).

It did start out really great, with nice feeling, great tone and a great sound. However when he started shredding it just fell apart. Lots of notes with no real aim or purpose. An instrumental song should be able to stand on it's own and not just be some chord patterns for someone to solo over. There are way better and more interesting instrumental songs and guitarists. I do like the guy in Def L

My 2 cents: First tracks starts off in sort of an AC/DC mode which is different, but still not bad. After this it just goes wrong. They move into some strange ambient dance type weird shit with lots of synthetic sounds, loops and Geoff Tate more talking than singing. A far cry from who he used to be as a singer. Sometimes they try to be some modern type Pink Floyd, without succeeding, and in
