Hi, Wow, thanks for the kind words! Great to hear that you like the album! We're actually working on the second one now (and have been for a while. Geographical differences are a bitch ;-)) P.S. If anyone would need a copy, you can order directly from me.

Yes, I know Lars (we were both in the final of Guitar Battle back in 1990). I wouldn't call him "undiscovered", at least not here in Sweden. He's a great guitarist! He recently recorded an album with Neondaze and has a new band now, working on an album. Thanks for the tip, anyway :-)

Went looking for Brett Petrusek. Found only one clip (demo of an amp), but he sounds like a great player. Need to find out more about him.

Besides all the other stuff I do, I'm a writer for Sweden's (or Scandinavia's actually) biggest guitar magazine FUZZ. Since a few months I have my spotlight page, where I put the spotlight on six guitarists per issue. Preferably undiscovered gems, but it can also be guys that have made stuff but deserves more attention. The page is featured in the printed magazine, but also on the mag website (w

I'm sorry if I have missed this somewhere, but how about the auctions that were up here previosly? I know there were some issues with the website, but I guess there must be more stuff that wasn't sold from that time (I know I sent a box of my stuff with Overdrive, Constancia etc stuff I didn't see there). If this has been mentioned before, I'm sorry, but I haven't checked all previous/older p

I know what you mean. I was the the band From Behind in the beginning. Try doing a web-search for that! Well... my recent band BALLS wasn't much better... (the initials of the band members, that was). We were thinking of a 3-band tour with Big Cock, From Behind supported by Balls... What a cock-up!!

Ok, you more or less call me a liar then? This was in 2009. I did a search, found a torrent site where the stats said it had 38 000 DL's. I obviously don't remember the name of the torrent site.

Snake, man, don't get into this discussion. I'm getting slaughtered for taking the musicians/rights holers standpoint in another thread regarding the same matter... For the record, I checked when our Constancia album was released and two months after its release, when googling it for reviews, I found a torrent site where the stats said it had been downloaded 38 000 times. NO, I'm not saying it

"In most cases that's not the artist responsible for the music" First of all, yes, today it mostly is, since most bands, even bigger bands like Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard, have taken control of their own works. Secondly, what difference does that make? If someone else have paid the band/musician money to obtain the rights, then it's ok to rob this person of his investment by down

Wooow, man, I feel the love here. Talk about a touchy subject... The bottom line is still, theft or not, call the horse by whatever name you want, that it's up to the person who owns the rights to decide if it's supposed to be up for grabs for free or not.

Daredevil "If this is true, then why are so many bands still doing it? We are flooded with tons of mediocre products these days. Maybe that's the reason people are not willing to purchase. IMO even some of the top rated and reviewed albums on this site are not worth buying." And that justifies downloading how? Can I go into a shop, open a box of chocolate and taste it and if I don'

mike 1990: Sounds like the same empty defence speech all young kids use just because they are to greedy and lazy to pay for the music. I've been in the business since the late 70s and it HAS affected the scene. It's more or less impossible for bands to get a decent deal today, and getting back the money you put into a record is more os less impossible. Why? Simply because people download the

Then there's the Swedish band Cornerstone that have released three albums between 1993-1998 as well. Well, as for my own band Overdrive, there are probably 5-6 other ones out there. We were formed around the same time as the UK band, but there's popped up a few more even in this internet age. One band (a Scottish band) even stole the logo from our first album cover!! Other ones with doppel

Well, there's a bunch of RTZ, Delp/Godreau, Godreau stuff on CDBaby (which is a great company). A lot of it is CDR and I think they are actually sold by the "band" themselves, while the Frontiers was of course a licenced proper CD. I have one self-titled by Delp and Godreau. It's a silver CDR, but nicely printed and all. This one refers to www.barrygodreau.com so I guess it's a legit

There's a bunch of "my" albums on Spotify (Overdrive, Constancia, Mountain Of Power, Zello, Planet Alliance etc) and the money is a joke, but, like someone said it's at least better than having it downloaded. For me personally I've discovered a lot of bands and albums, which I have then bought on CD! I hope "my" listeners do the same...

Bought ProTools 6.1 when I was on PC, but never really got it to work so I stuck with Cubase. 18 months ago I went Mac, I upgraded to PT 8 and it worked like a charm. Not putting down PC, but for me Mac was a better match. Now I use ProTools 9 (Crossgrade) with an MBox Pro 3 and I have no latency whatsoever, even if I run two signals, one through an amp and use a cab-simulator and one straight i
