The Badlands ST album more or less falls into this grey area... I think with a lot albums the term "classic" falls in recognition and identifiable with the likes of Van Halen ST, Aerosmith Toys in the Attic, Def Leppard Hysteria, Journey Escape, etc. as examples. I think BADLANDS ST had the potential to be an eventual classic as time passed, but I think and believe like others mentio

O M G......... nothing has improved at all with Vince. And MC actually want to go out on tour "again"???? Lord have mercy....its gonna be a disaster and utter embarrassment for them.... Face it...Vince cannot sing live anymore... But damn, Blando can sing! ;-) Is it me, and I have seen multiple videos over the last few years of Vince singing, but doesn't it sound like Vince is stru

The Truth And A Little More (2001)... it is a little hit & miss with tracks, keeping in mind it is not the Eclipse of recent (sonically)...but there are a couple tracks here and there that are noteworthy (IMO)... - Midnight Train -The Only One -Songs of Yesterday Second To None (2004)...sophomore release is bit better than the debut, and you can hear the subtle progression of what their

Oh hell......that was a little rough to listen through. I thought the cd package was something you'd get out of a cereal box - special prize inside with your purchase of Captain Crunch! ;-)

I don't hear it either. But then again after 4-5 spins it grew tiresome... a little better than the debut, but honestly, its just not standing solid for me.

Keep in mind.....that VH/Cherone did in fact record a good handful of songs for the follow up to "III"......Not to mention the infamous 2nd-disc of what was supposed to be the other half of the originally planned double album of F.U.C.K.... which that idea was last minute shelved. I don't know how much or what was recorded with Roth officially after or around ADKOT...

The only thing anyone is coming close to hearing anything close to those Stienman recordings is from the that Vh1 specials Classic Albums that featured Hysteria........Joe, Phil and Sav were playing the pre-demos of many songs ... those click track demos are the pre-Steinman tapes...which is as close to that Steinman era recordings anyone is going to get to hear. I am sure many fans (including

Sounds like the vocals based on the recording are real good quality...Tommy and Geezer could easily re-record the music and edit in the vocals with a bit of clean up and release it as a single. Real cool track.

Agree.......I too am a MS fan, and have enjoyed all the Stryper catalog and was rather excited about the most recent solo album release and the upcoming one too. Wasn't too keen on the Sweet/Lynch releases though, and I have reviewed them on this board at one point because those 2 albums sound mundane and too much like the now-defunct Lynch Mob releases...there was just no excitement in those ove

I also thought this was a good track too... having to listen to it a couple more times to digest it a little more...glad McAuley is releasing another album. Though the main riff reminds me of a combination of Dream Warriors & Breaking the Chains...

I agree.......this 90's trek is not working "right now"......maybe after a few more albums of 80's soundtrack stuff then swift into the 90's would be more acceptable...but currently, I am little disappointed in the 90's soundtrack selection to date.

It is interesting though, because I have one that I am developing that is akin to what Sea of Tranquility does...but is a little more visual, dives a bit into minor history and lineup talking points, the review of a said release (not catalog) etc. But even though it will be a channel (YouTube) that reviews albums, it is not current releases or really well known releases. Like I am not reviewing W

It is a shame though... I used to purchase from NEH for awhile off and on......but unfortunately, their prices gradually increased for individual releases as well as their shipping costs were a bit higher than average. But then again, when you are competing with something like Amazon ... it is hard no less to strive to stay afloat.

Isn't it ironic that Uncle Ted runs his mouth left and right all day long....talks a pretty tough talk.......But in the end, where was his ass during all that protests, etc.? Not in D.C.!!!!! He wasn't there...I thought for sure he would be there....but nope! He was sitting pretty up in his cabin in Michigan. Guy cannot even walk the walk. What a poser!

Is the Coreleoni project considered still active? Or was it a 2-album ordeal? IMHO, I think it is a great project that compliments Gotthards catalog really well... of course, who knows how long it can really last or how may albums they can really put out without re-recording Gotthards entire catalog.

I am disappointed too. I, like others thought SUNSTORM was JLT. Wonder what changed? I was convinced it was HIS band/project...unless behind the scenes, Frontiers owns the band name/moniker and could not agree on the content/material and direction...and JLT got the boot? This is really disappointing...not that I have anything against Ronnie Romero - this project should NOT be called SUNSTORM..

It just saddens me to no end...….Andrew has really worked to so hard and diligently to make MR.com and its discussion forums a nice place to hang and "talk" about music, artists, albums, etc. And while a vast majority of us on here have different opinions, views and takes on topics, etc. We for the most part seem to RESPECT one another's views...whether we are on the same page or not
