It was a really great album IMO. In fact, I am surprised (speaking from a historical perspective) that after Steve Clark passed - DL did not attempt to mend fences with Pete. Looking at this project around the same time - it proved that he got his act together and was making some really good music.

I think you are missing the point to Kid Rock's style. There is a huge difference between ripping off a riff and sampling. Kid Rock's style is a method of sampling notable riffs and songs... he doesn't rip them off, he samples and incorporates them into his ideas for newer songs. There is a huge difference.

I actually do not think Hysteria and Adrenalize is considered metal. Hard Rock - Pop Metal - maybe, but not metal. In fact, DL have never considered themselves as Metal (and they do not want too either)......they are Hard Rock (OTTN -> Pyro) and Pop-Metal (Hyst -> X).

I think what happened with Leppard is when they made Hysteria they really more or less locked into a formula that they could not easily break out of for many years. When they attempted to diverse themselves (with SLANG) they got a lot of rejection and backlash from the fans. Then they returned to a similar type of recognizable formula with Euphoria & "X" to win their fan base b

I would say the set list is alright - nothing spectacular - could be better IMO. Even though the set lists on the live releases on the deluxe versions are a helluva lot better. I will be picking it up for sure.........curious to see if the Japanese, European versions will have a little different tracklisting or not

I really do not mind - though a lot of their older stuff the production is a bit on the weaker side, however even with re-mastering some older albums - the quality might not be up to par. So therefore depending on which tracks (and we need to hold judgment until we know) they are are going to re-record. It could be a double disc - and they could get inspired enough to record a couple of new songs

Hi everyone...need a little help here with this release. I have and live in the US, and the single disc version I have has only 13 live tracks and 1 studio track. However, and correct me if I am wrong, but was this ever released as a double disc version? I cannot seem to remember and find anything on this. Steve Plunkett has basically gone underground and has stayed out of the eye of the media for a long time. Certainly after BUZZ - he disappeared after that release, mainly producing and co-writing many songs for other artists, and such. However, he did co-write a couple of songs on the RockStar soundtrack sometime back. Other than that - he is MIA.

Warrant's Born Again album wasn't bad by all means - the songs were rather good, the overall feel was good too. However, Jamie St. James just did not fit the way a lot of us wanted too. At times, I am split on how to accept this album - at times it feels like Warrant is backing up Jamie St. James and this is an experimental Black N Blue album - and other times it feels like St. James is guest app
