I dunno - Journey has become a walking contradiction in the last decade with all this drama, and whatnot.

As a longtime scorpions fan, I am pleased to know that they still want to record and tour (if they can), but these new tracks are rather mundane...and is rather challenging to have a repeat listen. They more or less lost me when "Return to Forever" was released - granted, that album was more or less contained many tunes from the vault - but even then, it was boring. Hey god bless th

My favorite Warrant album too. If you think about three or four of the "glam bands", like Warrant, Poision and Winger for example, their most diverse, mature and really great albums is when they took a leap of faith and went a little differnent by breaking the mold per se by grounding their sound a bit more. Warrant - Dog Eat Dog Poison - Native Tongue Winger - Pull

Is this a joke? That is the dumbest and most atrocious sounding track I have heard in years - complete junk.

Went out on a limb here recently when I purchased the new Best of Adriangale from http://www.eonianrecords.com/, and decided to pick up the 3-disc set of Kenny McGee archives. Must admit, after spinning all three - there are some really great tracks on here...definately worth the price to pick up all three cds (which can be purchased separately if wanted). For those who are not completely famil

Average track......nothing special, nothing memorable IMO. Almost sounds like another "leftover" track from a previous writing sessions from 15-25 years ago, and just re-worked. Well - hopefully the rest of the album is a little better.

The issue I have been conflicted over, at least here in the US...is the pricing of the cds....especially with hardshell cases and booklets alike. Now no fault of Frontiers, but tired of dealing with the broken cases and trays on a constant basis from suppliers (i.e. Amazon, Deep Discount, et al.) Especially since the prices of their products have increased lately over the last 6-9 months. Inte

It is well documented that Leppard has valued the time and effort Mutt spent with them with making the albums High n Dry through Adrenalize...and the admitted they learned a lot in many departments. What I have gathered from their books, interviews, etc. ...and you have to really read between the lines ... they have no problems or issues with Mutt on a personal level at all. But the it appears t

I was wondering what everyone's take is on the newly remastered/remixed WHITESNAKE - RESTLESS HEART: DELUXE EDITIONS for those who have picked it up? I have the original '97 Japanese version with 3 bonus tracks...and it is what it is IMO. I mean it was a good album for the time it was released... So I know there was apparently a lot work put into this re-release, just wondering if it is worth

via Facebook posting on Eonian Records and Kivel Records. Well, the wait is over and the final piece is now in place. ADRIANGALE “Final Piece” (AKA The Best Of) This is not just some typical band with a 10 song CD. NAY! This is a TWO CD Disc set of a beloved band with a 15-year career span and seven albums. Containing the band’s best material, along with some rarities and unrelea

What I find interesting about this album, besides it is a rather good album for what it is...even though it did not go any further, that its one of those rarity albums that seems to come up every 5-10 years in discussions about how unique it is...some good songs, obviously a rushed project that did not have the opportunity to continue...not to mention the live show if you are able to view on YT.

I lost respect for KISS many many years ago...they are a joke. I feel for Tommy T. and Eric S. who we all know are "hired guns" for this parody of what used to be one of the biggest bands in the world in our generation. Sure DLR is not what he used to be...but he is still making the best of what he can for his age - Gene Simmons is such a hypocrite, I don't see Gene and Kiss releasin

That is such a shame - I remember him releasing that solo EP release via RatPakRecords about 10+/- years ago......and then he said he was semi-retiring from the music business and was attempting to pursue culinary and then he kind of dropped out of the limelight and scene. Sad to here - RIP.

When I saw this news come through from Rat Pak Records, I really struggled about wanting to order this or not. Everything GL has done, whether its Lynch Mob, The End Machine, KMX, etc. have all been too drab and unexciting on average - I don't think this solo record is going to do much for motivating me personally in purchasing it - as I don't have that high expectations in anything different so

There is always three sides of the coin in the story... His side - Their side and the truth that lies in between. Sure we all don't know ALL the exact details in this dispute issue. Sure from our standpoint it really looks shady that Frontiers is pulling this stunt - but on the other hand, we don't know what legal/contractual obligations are still outstanding between Jelusick & Frontiers...

They are good from time to time in regards to certain items. I usually bounce back and forth from Discogs and Ebay for some of those HTF or OOP or Rarity cds that are not so easy to come by on Amazon. But in the last year or two - especially since the pandemic- and this is no way the fault of the sellers - but shipping has become a little expensive getting items to the USA from Europe, Australia

Quite refreshing sounding track.... I honestly would not have known it was a Journey song on first spin or two. With Arnel stepping out of the clone Perry sound...its a great fresh track. The sound is different, you can tell the writing is different too which makes this a unique song. If the writing of the songs on this new album is following the same vein...then we may have a great Journey al

OR......... Dino realized that besides Animal Drive & Dirty Shirley, those were the two bands/projects that he was interested in being apart of initially. AND...probably Frontiers wanted to stick Dino into a bunch of these other so-called project bands or supergroups, etc. and thought they were a waste of his talents and time....and not being another Ronnie Romero.

Really enjoyed those EP songs initially and even the debut release. But after two tracks so far - it just doesn't catch me. It sounds canned, bland and restricted ... really disappointed. The feeling I get when listening to it so far reminds of the let-down in sound after Gotthard brought in Nic Maeder for those first 2-3 albums. Just doesn't sound right.
