1. Hell or High Water - This song kicks off the album in the heavier sense of their debut, but definately has that Slave to the Grind vibe to it. Has that initial impression and a little Baz essence to the vocals. 10/10. 2. The Gang's All Here - well obviously this song is a strong rocker, we all have been sitting on this one for awhile...a great stadium rocker, as to be expected. 9/10. 3. Not

I agree - comparing the two releases........the 2015 release is a lot better album. DSH has maybe 8 songs that are on the repeat listening aspect. DSH is a bit of a disappointment all around.

To be honest - I have been dealing with a nasty sinus illness this week.......and when I saw this post, the first thing that came to mind was is Midnight City covering Hanson - This Time Around? LOL. Which I have to admit - peaked an odd interest!!!!!!!! ;-) Other than that - pretty good track.

I noticed this too with a handful of releases from Frontiers that I had palced on preorder from Amazon here in the US. I received notification late last week / over the weekend of new release/shipping dates for the following: Second To None by Restless Spirits Release date: Friday, August 12, 2022 -- Delivery estimate: Monday, August 22, 2022 Brothers In Arms by Sunstorm Release date: Fr

Interesting choice for a cover - definately and nice track - HOWEVER, not album worthy........maybe as a "bonus" track at the most. Damn stupid choice for an initial release after a few years since the last release... especailly with that EP they are doing. From my understanding - two new songs (1 original, 1 cover & 2 live)...total waste especially for the cost. No thanks.

Well, if anyone can pull off a cover and a reimagine of a class - it will be DCD. Nice!. Enjoyed it a lot....especially the little Beatles-esque influence hidden in there. ;p

I agree - at initial 2-3 listens, DSH as a whole 15 track album really struck me too diverse and a lot of the songs just did not go with the mix or should not have been included at all. I had to remove a few of tracks on my playlist (ipod) to make it a truly listenable and enjoyable DL record. I kept... 1. Take What You Want 2. Kick 3. Fire It Up 4. SOS Emergency 5. Liquid Dust 6. U

LOL I was about to state I remember when Best Buy had it several years ago for like $2.99 new......and even then, I wasn't going to buy it. But if today it is 1.99.......???? then I might consider it if I can find something else to g

Well, what is even worse IMO, is the extra bonus tracks (studio tracks) being added to vinyl and not cd or even digital. Now I am with the OP, I do not purchase digital versions of albums/tracks, etc. And this new wave of added extra bonus tracks to vinyl is just as bad. Now I stopped purchasing vinyl back in the late 70's/early 80's when cassettes came out...I am not about to start again 40+ ye

I am not sure this band has been a topic of discussion on here - I did a search and it came up nothing, so here is what I discovered. I accidently stumpled across this band and their 3 singles released last year by a youtube reviewer, and OMG...this band is amazing. AOR/Melodic & Hard Rock. The band is from India... I am going to be honest here...it is really rare for me personally, to

As a long-time DL fan, I try to be objective as much as possible when listening to their new releases and singles. I am on my 2nd spin now...I did really enjoy the first 2 singles "Kick" & "Take What You Want". I know Kick has been somewhat hot/cold for many...I really like that classic glam-70's rock vibe to it....of course it could be mearly coincidental because I have a

Well, it doesn't surprise me that Tood/Roxy Blue parted ways with Frontiers... considering the label really did not push the album, promotional wise, as hard as some other artists in their roster. Not to mention it did come out in the middle of the pandemic, so even then the label still had the ball in their court to push the album - but did not. I think that goes for the same with Spread Eagle.

Well _ i have noticed that all of Frontiers' releases through Amazon have increased a few dollars in the recent weeks or so. Not to mention that their releases used to be guaranteed delivery on release date/day. Now they are not... which suggests that shipping from manufacture to distribution (with fuel & shipping pricing gone up) to Amazon is being passed on to the customer/consumer. For

Hell - just watch the audience and their reaction, a majority of them are just standing there in shock like "...WTF is this?" They are just standing there staring...then there are a small few are bopping their heads and what not, because they probably are totally tone deaf anyways or too damn drunk off their asses to realize how bad JBJ's vocals are! That was completely embarrassing t

Hey - there is still plenty of time. It might just be, they want to see if they can come up with a few more tracks with Erik on board now - so maybe we'll get a 12-13 track album?!!

That was a great version.......there is even more of an emotional haunting feeling here. Which just enhances the experience of his version of the song. Damn - that was good. Thanks DCD.

It does make you wonder, and wouldn't mind hearing the story on this one...is how much of that new SR album is completed? Did ZP write a lot for the album? Will Erik come in and re-write lyrics (besides re-recording over the ZP vocal tracks)? Will ZP force a block in releasing the album if he had a huge writing stake in the album? All things I am a little curious about...

To be honest - Dyfunctional is actually a remix, updated version of the Japan only version of Dokken "S/T" that was released in 1994. Dysfunctional contained those original 9 songs - which some song (if not all) were either re-recorded, parts added, remixed, etc. and then 3 additional tracks were written and recorded (incl. the bonus track). To be honest, I much prefer the original
