Thanks for the heads up, big fan of that band, and I really like those tracks you've posted. To me, they're a cross of Ah-ha and Rush!

Of course, he will be. He owns half of the company. He and Neal are half a stage apart when on stage. They don't have to see each other the rest of the day and most likely travel on different private jets.

So, will there be three keyboard players on stage when Rolie joins them?

Yes, they come in two sizes. I once picked up the wrong ones as well. Last time I got them from a Japanese seller on Ebay. Need to check if I can find a link.

Vocals are okay, the rest is crap. Is there even a bass on this? I should add, it's nice to hear Lzzy actually singing for a change, not just screaming.

Just immense, a live delivery with such energy and urgency! LIVE Capital Centre, Landover, MD, USA, December 1981

In the documentary he comes across as a perfectionist, somebody very particular with a clear vision of what he wants. That's why he didn't last that long in both Rainbow and Sabbath where he butted heads with equally strong personalities. In regard to his solo band, I assume he and Wendy were similar to Ozzy and Sharon in the sense that they looked at the band as a bunch of hired guns that worked

Yes. Many bands are getting caught having to honor tickets they sold years ago that were calculated on much lower budgets. Now touring costs are going through the roof, leaving them in a financial hole.

I'm fairly certain that Tichy could do at least background/harmony vocals, but I don't think his big, chunky and groovy drumming would fit Mr. Big's style.

I think Devil's Hand is great, a bit heavier than his usual output and perhaps not as immediate.

Home Again is the best of the singles he released. Excellent indeed. Really miss his voice in Journey, Arnel sounds so flat and uninspired these days.

Andrew, I get what you're saying and I obviously don't know the margins of CD manufacturing, but I assume you're a small label with a lower overhead compared to larger labels like Frontiers.

But how big is that second-hand market? I've noticed these crazy prices on Discogs too, but I suspect demand overall is still too low for a label to do reprints.

I cannot see much demand for most of these releases so many years after the initial release as most of these bands/project never tour. Outside of these hardcore circles, who's going to buy that stuff?

I hear you, although this is somewhat better than expected. I can understand that he doesn't want to do a "Journey" album, but this sort of middle-of-the-road rock stuff leaves me completely cold. It lacks any sort of energy that grabs you and is just a collection of mediocre songs for the most part. His voice still sounds great, but it's just not something I would go back to on a regul

It misses perhaps 1-2 truly standout tracks, but it's a very solid album with good tunes and good sonics.

Yes, they're an LLC. I'm sure they'll find a way to get through that 50th-anniversary tour next year. Too much money at stake. A few months ago Schon mentioned something about a stadium tour with Santana at some point.

Well, songs like Seventeen and Kip's sultry prancing around on MTV with a 3-day-stubble and exposed chest hair certainly didn't help to dispel that image. But that was a long time ago and Winger have proven that they are/were so much more than that.

Rampage s/t from 1983 Not mind-blowing, but I kinda dig it. Has that early 80s charm/vibe Living Alone Look At Your Life

They completely butchered the original. It's actually a good vocalist but, as you said, it sounds nothing like the original band, so what's the point? It's almost like they want to erase their past by saying "Hey, we're a heavy band now, not some fluffy 80's hair metal combo."

And now we know why the new First Signal pisses all over the previous albums – he was more involved in the songwriting! Perhaps they can do that with the next Revolution Saints as well?

Yeah, the same problem as with Levara. I think he needs to figure out what direction he wants to go. It's not really rock or pop. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but then it would need to be a bit more original or quirky or whatever. This just sounds very bland.

The band was fantastic, all talented players, they just lacked some great original songs.
