Probably all of Bat and Bat 2 are more essential than a lot of the other songs on your list. Would definitely add Nowhere Fast from Bad Attitude,Rock n Roll Mercenaries from Blind Before I Stop and Runnin For The Red Light from Welcome To The Neighbourhood.

Wounded Bird did go through a phase of releasing some pretty good 80s and early 90s albums but I always thought they were just reissued and not remastered, similar to what the Music On Cd label does?

If you check out the description on the CDs or the website it tells you which albums have been remastered from the original source tapes.

Ha ha,I think it's a play on the Beatles For Sale(and Not For Sale) but ironically there were distribution issues with it on release so perhaps it was a more apt title than originally intended.

Not 4 Sale is my favourite of the later albums, just wish there were 1 or 2 more originals instead of the pointless Zeppelin medley.

The 3 albums of his at his most rocking would probably be Billy Idol Devils Playground Steve Stevens Atomic Playboys Vince Neil Exposed But pretty much everything he has released is well worth a listen

Love a lot of music from the late sixties especially The Beatles,CCR,Kinks,Fleetwood Mac but would say it's the Stones who had the best hot streak with songs like Paint It Black Sympathy For The Devil Gimme Shelter Midnight Rambler Street Fighting Man Let It Bleed Live With Me

Incredibly consistent body of work with no real stinkers in their discography for nearly 50 years, that's quite an achievement.

I remember there was a big discussion on here when Firepower was released about how great it was but would it still be ranked among the classics in the future?I guess the answer is definitely yes

Interesting you mention the Rod Stewart Songbook albums,he made one and it sold millions leading to 4 more,he then returned to his usual rock albums.Maybe Paul's album will be a hit too,it's certainly getting great reviews in the mainstream press.I hope it sells well for him,a lot of music fans just like music so the change of style probably won't bother a lot of them.

Great work on the poll and really interesting results due to size of the back catalogue. How about Alice Cooper next,he has a wealth of material spanning an unbelievable 7 decades?

Not sure if it's an automated process but Frontiers are the only label where the booklets are consistently creased around the spines/staples.If you buy a Frontiers CD and compare it to say a Rock Candy or Ear Music CD it just looks like a cheaper product.

Frontiers CDs always seem a lower quality product than most others. For years now the booklets always have creases along the spines as if they are all pushed in roughly by hand.
