I am on a major DT trip at the moment and I was listening to When Dream And Day Unite the other day! Its a really great album but I just can't be doing with the guys voice. Would LOVE the band to re-record those tunes with James singing! Have heard him sing several of the tunes live and he adds another dimension! Any comments? Gav

Manchester, London and Sheffield! Vocal performances consistently bad! I have a bootleg of the Manchester gig which proves the point I am making. Maybe Newcastle was the night! :O) Gav

Firstly, let me just say, Whitesnake are one of my all time favourite bands and Coverdale is one of my all time favourite singers / frontmen. However, there is a lot of people who have sung Coverdale's praises on the recent live performances and I just can't for the life of me see where they get it from! I have seen Whitesnake 18 times over the years and saw them 3 times on the recent UK tour and

I would strongly disagree with Six Degrees (cd2) having any strong similarity with Images. Change Of Seasons is without doubt the closest thing style wise they have released since. In fact, I seem to think that ACOS was actually written during the IAW sessions for inclusion on the album. Might be wrong but that seems to ring a bell. Dream Theater could record themselves belching and I would argu

I used to be massively into Bon Jovi but after New Jersey they stopped making great albums and began dishing out inconsistent housewive's choice pap with only 3 or 4 good tunes per release! Jon is a business man first, songwriter second. I doubt he really gives a shite what the fans of the first 4 albums would like to hear. Having said all that, they've reached the 20 yr mark so they must be doin

Nah, seriously I am over for the Thin Lizzy gig on the thursday and staying at Casa Warren til Sat! Doubt I will be in Maximes until March now! First couple after Christmas r usually utter shite! Gav

Not really as proggy as Images. Songs r a bit more straight forward on the whole. Darker sounding, heavy as hell and very melodic! U will not be disappointed. Gav

Hmmm let me see! House of Lords would be awesome but I fear that is pretty unlikely! We can but hope and pray! Given the Jack Blades and Kelly Keagy connection, solo performances followed by some kind of Nightranger set (in whatever guise) would go some way to making my life complete! Jeff Scott Soto (AGAIN!) Let's face it, he's da man! (Maybe add Glenn Hughes for a pant shitting rendition of

I really like this album! Very strong songs and very melodic! "Running Away" and "Most of All" actually remind me of Laine era Danger Danger! Top stuff! Still reckon Dakona is gonna be album of the year though! Gav

Great little album! Rootsy, southern flavoured americana! I was lucky enough to catch a gig back in 1999 when I was in Las Vegas. A fine band! Gav

The "edition" I had was definitely called "Casdon Soccer". I can picture the writing on the lid! Come to think of it there was a picture of a bald tw*t too but I can't say I remember the connection with Bobby Charlton! Tank Command was ace so sh*t off! And yes, Haunted House was awesome, if a little fragile for over enthusiastic participants ripped to the tits on Kia Ora! Gav

Some of my favourite albums of all time were "growers". I always find it more rewarding when a record requires repeated spins b4 it "grabs" u as u put it! Instant "in your face" stuff tends to become stale more quickly for me! Maybe I am just a tosser! Gav

Funny how people hear different things in an album isnt it? I was a massive fan of the previous 2 albums and on first listen this sounds easily as strong if not better! "Million Miles" is an absolute monster of a tune! Awesome stuff! Gav

I actually thought it was pretty good! Like Phil said, mainly down to the company but I thought the DJ did a fair job! Mainstream it was but pretty well balanced too! Its the best the music has been for a while anyway! Gav

Not read the review but I think is a pretty good album! Better than Silver Side Up but I agree that Chad needs to try and vary his songwriting a little coz there r way too many songs that use the "How U Remind Me" blueprint! It does rock though and has a great production/mix which sounds ace cranked up in the car! Still think Theory of a Deadman is the best Nickleback album though! LOL
