Here is the countdown of one of the only stations in North America with the balls to add the awesome Def Leppard tune! The station is 100.3 The Q in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Notice the ** next to it...the most requested song of the week (see bottom of chart). Dammit...this just proves that if it would get played....PEOPLE WILL RESPOND!!!!!!! Even the station I work for doesn't have

With Mindcrime...I have to set aside 60 minutes to listen to it from beginning to end. It's one 60 minute piece of music, not 15 pieces of music 4 minutes long.

Funny I log in to see all this Queensryche talk as I put Mindcrime in my diskman last night and listened to it beginning to end before I went to sleep. 15 years later I am still looking for things in the story I may have missed. Also....yesterday I let a co-worker listen to that album for the first time and he was blown away. He had heard of them, but was a fringe listener that was aware of Em

I actually really liked this album. Come Out And Play was the one that I couldn't get into. I got to see Dee Snider about three years ago when he came to my city, and he had AJ Pero on drums with him. He still had the energy of an 18 year old, and put on a great show. He made mention of a possible TS reunion at this show...and he said that IF they did it....it would be "FULL ON...LIKE KI

Did it debut at #40? Or did it debut earlier and has already fallen to #40? Also...is there a website where I can follow this chart?

Wow...I finished this book up last night! I couldn't put it down all week! Imagine spending three hours, on the Friday night of a long weekend doing nothing but reading, but that was me last night because I just had to finish it. Kudos to the band for not holding back. From their childhood right up till two years ago, nothing seems to be left out and I was transfixed all the way. From the dr

A good band out of Vancouver (ok...they have probably split up now) but I saw them at a concert in Kamloops and they kicked total ass. They were the "Explorers" then. Three months later I saw them at a Country Festival playing country music as the "Underground Outlaws". After the Explorers show, I got to meet a couple of them, so three months later at the country fest I app

I think she did an ok job for being a little out of her element. Also, wearing clothing symbolizing all the Canadian NHL teams was a nice touch. What did you think of Avril Lavigne's performance? I thought her band rocked out, but she kinda stood there like a tree till near the end of the song. She can sure sing though. Also...her comments when she won the best song award for "Complicat

Though I agree Black N Blue aren't legends, and I also don't think Andrew was trying to infer them as such....they were my favorite band of the entire era. When I saw most of the other bands hit huge success with monster album sales and huge tours, I couldn't understand why BNB didn't have the same success...when their music was easily just as good. Without Love is probably still my favorite al

I saw your Black N Blue Story on the front page and just assumed it was a new BNB album with the normal lineup. I would be less interested if it is just a Jaime St. James album.

Out of Nanaimo? My best friend runs a camera shop in Qualicum Beach and he always talks about this station. When I was there for a visit in August, I tuned in. It had Harem Scarem, Great White, Def Leppard, Autograph...everything. I loved it!!!!

I aplogize as this post is not in response to your original post, but I thought I would place it her to avoid starting a new thread at the top. I just wanted to let you know that I emailed you an MP3 of a cool new single that we got at the radio station I work at. I believe it fits the "melodic rock" category that this site is dedicated too. Anyway, I hope you get the chance to previ

but I did tell him how the label was not going to release the single, and that there was a uproar on this website and that a petition was signed by it's members and sent to the label. He was all ears and looks forward to previewing the song. I also explained to him that LLWTG was the song that most of the fans wanted as the first single so the album could make a big immediate splash. I blew it

Ok I aplogize if this topic has already been covered, but the last I remember, the record label was not going to release this single, and the petition that we signed on this site fell on deaf ears. If this news has changed I missed it, as I have been away from this site for awhile. Anyway, the reason why I bring this up, is because I work at a radio station and the Long Long Way To Go single is

This may be a band to take notice off, an all female teenage quartet out of Vancouver who made the national charts a couple years ago with the song "I'm Afraid Of Britny Spears". They have a new album coming out next month, and the first single is a doozy. I believe the majority of the users on this board would really like the new single "Lets Go". Unfortunately, this song

1883. Awesome!
Great stuff Figge! A lot of those are the favorites from my collection as well. However, I must ask...the Band "Dare" is one I have seen mentioned on this board before....but I missed the boat on them. Who do they compare too? How many albums do they have and from what years?

If you like to discuss "24", got to www.imdb.com. Click on Message boards, then go down to "Current Shows". There is ALWAYS ample 24 discussion in there. Each show is recapped and discussed in detail.

Jack... I missed your post last week....but agree with you 100%. As soon as I finished last nights episode....I was so tempted to rewind the vcr and just watch it all over again. I too have turned friends onto the show, and own the first season on DVD. The only problem is that' it's not viewer friendly as far as joining the show mid-season, but hey, ratings are up so who cares. Last nights e

I found Harem Scarem's "Mood Swings" and Haywires "Nuthouse" in a second hand shop here in town. I bought new jewell cases for them, then look new and play skip free. I was just wondering if these are rare items...and would they be worth putting on Ebay (As I already own them).
