Getting Booster #2 tomorrow. I had zero effects on the first two shots, then shot #3 I sure felt. Hoping #4 tomorrow doesn't knock me out.

On first listen I thought Nineteen, but I realized within that first week I owned it that it was Night Teen.

Loved the title track. I remember I bought the album on a family trip to Disneyland and I picked up GNR's Appetite For Destruction on the same trip. Very poppy polished production which I know bothers some. Agree with Sword And Stone, that song could have replaced many of the filler on the record. I remember seeing a ranking of ALL Kiss songs from their catalog, and Bang Bang You came dead

Icon - "Night Of The Crime" is a fantastic AOR album that came out after their very heavy debut.

I think it was the opposite, they changed their sound and the record company wanted a similar record to After The Rain. Here is a copy and paste from their wikipedia page: After several years of touring, the band went into the studio to record their follow-up. The result of this was a darker and harder concept album titled Imaginator. According to Gunnar "it was about the machine that

Gun - Swagger (1994) was one of my favorites from this era. Goo Goo Dolls - Superstar Car Wash (1993), A Boy Named Goo (1995), also very good.

Yes, I'm aware what I said. I also corrected myself in the reply to your response. I bought every book that I came across on Trump since 2016, obviously there are many more from before 2016 and after that didn't make it to the store shelves in my city. Let's put it this way, if I saw it and the price was good, I got it. I guess I'm guilty of a "Trumpian like exaggeration"! lol.

Thank you garyt. I mentioned to Don that Ratt, Loverboy and Goo Goo Dolls are the first coming to mind when starting up again. I had no clue that Goo Goo Dolls "Boxes" was such a good album, I checked it out two weeks and haven't stopped listening since! Goo Goo Dolls are a band that I'm usually up do date on but I completely missed that album.

Thank you Don, every time I get the itch something happens and I don't post. I"m trying to figure out the first band up when I start up again. Ratt, Loverboy and Goo Goo Dolls are three that come to mind.

well said. I've always thought this too. I'm assuming only a very small percent of the population would want these positions, and the best people for these positions would be the ones outside that group who would never want to do it.

garyt, the reason there haven't been any polls is because I have been terribly sick and am just lucky to still be here to post. That said I do hope to start them again soon, much to the chagrin of a few I believe ;) lol

Obviously I haven't read a hundred books about Trump. What I should have said is "I have read a lot of books on trump that came out since his presidency started" A quick look at my bookshelf now shows 13. And yes, I average a book every two months per your recommendations. I'm more obsessed with music and television programs than I am books, in fact I probably should read more

that actually is an excellent question. And the answer is, the man fascinates me. I actually enjoyed his tv show The Apprentice. But the more awful he revealed himself to be, the more I wanted to know.

I've ready virtually every book on Trump, and the man is a complete moron. He inherited Obama's economy that grew steadily the last seven years of Obama's presidency. The economy continued it's climb and of course Trump gave all credit to himself. He told over 30,500 lies in four years, and over 500 the 24 hours before the election. Yes those factcheckers were busy as someone else said. He

They were, but they were the only team to field their "A" team. All the other powerhouse teams were missing significant players from their roster.

Shandi was quite a successful single in Australia which is why they add it to the playlist while touring there.

That was my memory too. I bought it on a trip to Seattle and before I left to come home I made the trip to a music store. I didn't find too much so I took at chance on Kiss Of The Gypsy based entirely on the album cover. I remember not liking it too much, not sure if I even got past a couple listens.

By 1990 the hair band genre was going downhill a bit, more and more bands were being signed for having the look but not necessarily the songs. I think Gypsy Rose's "Prey" was one of the better albums of genre that came out at that time though I admit I don't go back to it very often. Might have to after this thread.

That power ballad didn't show up till their 5th album so they held out a long time, and in my opinion it's one of their best songs.

Yes, 100% facts on Revolve. It may be my favorite ever comeback album. Also the two Trixter put out in the 2010's are up there as well.

I'm curious how a Ratt album poll would play out? They were on my poll list last year but I was trying to stick to bands with large discographies. I think Ratt will be one of my first up when I start them up again. Personally I thought they dropped a bit with Dancing Undercover and really lost the plot on Reach The Sky (with a few great tunes) before a fantastic comeback with Detonator.
