Swept Away a great deeper cut. With Dick in the Dirt and Drive 55 a little more on the campy side. Odd to see two almost light rock songs, Dont Make Me Wait and Two sides of love on an album. all the others are ok

Always loved this song. Wonder if this was written for Journey with the Perry credits. First time I heard All I wanted by Kansas was a Steve Perry Solo song. Also first time I heard Wait by White Lion was a Bon Jovi Song. On a lesser note, I could have sworn the first time I heard You Better Wait was a Journey song, Nothing like SP solo's but was.

loved NR and Journeys trade off vocal songs. Wish both bands would do more of it. This song amazingly sounds like a Journey song, in the line of Never too late. One of the few standouts from that CD. So where is the Journey influence coming from as a writer on this track? This another album with mostly outside writers?

love the band, no interest in seeing them live however. At least 5 songs should be played post-Perry and lucky if you get 1. I agree, seeing them on stage seems like they are there to get a check (mainly for the ex wives and children) Paula White must have millions bilking people out of $. Absolutely loved "Dont you know where love is" back in the day (and still do). I was only 10 or so when it came out so I did not listen til the whole album until 1985- so hard to find. Love Dont Fail me is by far the second best song on there. The rest is forgettable except for Black Star-Really??? Song is one of the worst AOR band songs I have ever heard.

My first introduction was Hang On To Your Life. Bought the cassette from Columbia House (81-82 ish?), as Hang on, Break Out, and Hollywood were in heavy rotation on KQRS. When their "best of" came out (89,90 ish?), and the VERY survivor like song touch me tonight, it was the first CD I ever bought. Loved most of the tracks especially the Kansas like Last Chance and of course Hollywood.

If he really has been in the studio now for 1 1/2 years he surely can sing as good if not better than his gigs with the Eels. (Just don't do open arms) Arnel cant even sing it as good as Perry in 80's. Great to see Yes and ELO, always thought that they were "cool" roc
