No Muss No Fuss is my favourite Donnie Iris album. All his albums have their moments bt for me this is perfect AOR... like you say expensive to find on CD... Donne's catalogue is definitely needing the box set treatment... just saying Andrew :-)

High n Dry :-) Pyromania over Hysteria for me everytime... it was Def Leppard's first step into the big time. For me it has less filler than Hysteria.

I love Ignition ! But then John Waite is up there as one of my favourite singers. It’s hard for me to pick a favourite out of his catalogue... Either Head First or Union Jacks from the Babys, And solo either Ignition or Temple Bar. My least favourite would be the Bad English albums.

Another great album by the massively underrated Michael McDermott ... my copy came via his Kickstarter campaign. He's also been doing a number of Stage It gigs recently - which have been excellent. He has one coming up on Saturday where he's playing a song from every album (done by a vote from his FB page): https://www.stageit.com/michael_mcdermott/house_arrest_the_one_from_every_album_show/7

Love both these albums but they are very different from each other... the debut is pure AOR :-) I think Bob Kulick plays most of the guitars on BEL... even though its keyboard heavy!

I wonder if there's other songs that he co-wrote with John Waite that we've never heard? By the way Andrew loving the Brett Walker Box set - would love to see the same thing done with John Waite and Glen Burtnik :-)

I saw them twice in '83... earlier in the year at Newcastle Mayfair probably just before Pyromania was released... then later in the year with their triumphant return to Hammersmith... great shows... great set lists... midnight train back home to the North East afterwards... those were the days!

Earthshaker is not only the best Y&T album it’s one of the best hard rock album of the 80s... if only it had been produced by Bruce Fairbairn or Neil Kernon :-) Saw them at Newcastle Mayfair in 82 ... I only knew 2 songs but was blown away and became a fan

Just had a look no surprises... if you take out Neal's two guitar solos, Cain's piano solo and the drum solo they actually only played 14 songs :-( Mental DL played a reduced version of what they played at RAH earlier in year... adding Two Steps Behind... but why keep playing Rock On... doesn't make sense either. I was thinking about trying to get over and see a show but probably not now.

Really enjoyed the gig last night always amazed at how busy the Armadillo is when certain classic rock bands turn up! The band sounded amazing as did KH - he definitely works for his $$$$ Set list was fairly predictable but my only gripes were: - we didn’t get Say You Will :-( Manchester did :-( - does anyone care about drum and keyboard solos anymore ?? Nice to hear a bit of Loverbo
