I'd go with everything from 'Where's the Party' (1983) right thru to 'Right Here' in 1991. Great artist. Jon

I think he's currently in a country duo called 'Smoke & Ashes'. There are some clips on youtube. https://ne-np.facebook.com/SmokeAndAshesMusic/videos/smoke-ashes-are-proud-to-present-their-new-single-the-high-that-were-riding-live/828674468133847/ Jonny

Listening now - another great album. Not sure why these guys weren't massive? Makes you wonder if an album as good as Vigilante would have sold more if the cover wasn't a pink unicorn.

I only ever had Goodnight LA which I found in a bargain bin years ago and thought was pretty good, but after the post here a couple of weeks ago I investigated further and am loving this band. Obviously I'm very late to the Magnum party, but I am really enjoying: Storyteller's Night Vigilante Goodnight L.A. Wings of Heaven in that order. Where should I go next as they have a LOT of albu

I would have to go with John Farnham. He's a freak.

I would definitely go with 'Love Crimes' and 'One False Move'. Both absolute classics.

Hi all, Anyone here remember a band from 10-15 years back that were a hair-metal parody a little like Steel Panther but not quite so over-the-top? I think they were Australian (maybe?) and had a song that was something to do with 'guilty' or 'accused'? There was a video for it on youtube but their name completely escapes me. Sorry this isn't much to go on but figured someone might remember.

Love this band. I think the peak of their studio career was probably the self-titled 'Streetheart' album from 1982. Not a bad song on it. 'Dancing With Danger' went a little heavier and 'Live After Dark' is a great concert album. Jonny

He was on Toque Talk in December last year. I think he says what he's up to nowadays on there somewhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0JEw9-GnVE

The thread below got me thinking about these guys again. Check out the harmonies here (not to mention Farnham's always amazing voice): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_sWuDmrlhs Their harmonies actually remind me of moments on the Harem Scarem debut. Strange comparison I know, but I hear it.

Anyone know if this is actually Andy Taylor? Sounds like him but I've never heard of this track and can't find any info online. If it is him, anyone know when it was recorded? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUGKH4eyYUQ Cheers,

A few people were interested in hearing this album so I put it up on youtube as it's nearly impossible to find now. Added a couple of other tracks by the band I had lying around also. Enjoy, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WU0rL5Vsk4

Definitely a John Waite vibe. When they played live they would often open the set with 'Best Of What I Got' by Bad English and would totally nail it. The whole album is pretty strong although there are a few fillers. At least 3 or 4 really strong songs though and then several more that are good. There is 1 tune where the singer (Steve Chivilo) does a spot-on Rick Springfield impersonation (I t
