According to Wikipedia Rainbow Rising celebrates its 50th anniversary today, one of the greatest and most influential works in history of music. There's still nothing better in music than the B-Side on the original album with "Stargazer" and "A Light In The Black" Congratulations!

I knew the song Billy Squier - Rock Me Tonite but have never seen the video to it, so this is the first time now and I now need a beer to recover from this crap.

Years ago i wanted to track down the Airborne s/t on Rock Candy because i only had the vinyl edition but the online prices really put me off. I got it in the meantime for a very good price from a seller on an online portal here in Germany called "Kleinanzeigen", this portal is kind of the little brother of the regular ebay

Incredible prices, I wouldn't pay them. I recently saw a report on YouTube about the depreciation of CDs. These prices tell a different story, so what's the truth?

The Laos "We Want It" album is amazing. I would also add Scarlet Rose "Prime" and "Faces", both are independet releases from the 90's and rare unfortunately. Chrissy Steele is another great female fronted album.

This album was first released under the band name "Kingdom", but due to confusion with the very successful Kindom Come at that time they changed their name to 'Domain". I've played their best of CD "Collection 86-92" nonestop the last couple of days. Here's the title track of the debut album Hell yeah, what a song!!! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ArFxlLMuTcI

Isn't Fair Warning somehow connected to Zeno? Then I would recommend the Zeno debut from 1986 with one of the best songs ever "Don't Tell The Wind"(in my opinion anyway).

Awesome, thanks for sharing, wish I could have attended. Did they play "The Overture" Robby's tribute to Freddie Mercury, a fantastic epic rock style opera running over 10 minutes?

I was watching some youtube videos and this Frontline video came up as a suggestion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpPnFznNY2w I clicked on it and in the comments singer Stephan Kammerer announced a new Frontline album in spring 2026. How cool is that! One of the best german melodic hardrock bands with the german Steve Perry are releasing a new album after all these years. I am curious to

Streetlight goes the AOR/prog/pomp route. I love it! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v-wmqR0ZGUU&list=RDv-wmqR0ZGUU&start_radio=1&pp=ygUTU3RyZWV0bGlnaHQgZW5kZ2FtZaAHAQ%3D%3D I could also name some songs from the fantastic new Treat album, today it would probably be "Mad Honey https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cqBl3C_uKyA&list=RDcqBl3C_uKyA&start_radio=1&pp=ygUPVHJlYXQg

I can totally understand your complaint with Frontiers. I wanted to order the latest Treat CD "The Wild Card" at my local record store, but the owner couldn't get it from any of his distributors. The CD was sold out two weeks after its initial release! How many copies did Frontiers press at first worldwide…17…79…257 ? Furthermore, my record store owner had nothing good to say ab

The Endgame is a total killer and my favorite album by them when they came back for their 2nd invasion. It even beats Coup De Grace IMO. Ghost of Graceland and Tungunska were good albums too but with no highlights for me anyway. I also love their 80's releases with Dreamhunter being the best of the bunch. Haven't listened to the new album Wild Card enough yet to give my opinion, just got it toda

This is great early 80´s AOR/pomp rock There´s a lot of talk on the internet about pomp rock recently on Grant´s Warehouse, Now Spinning Magazine, Sea Of Tranquillity, Brendon Snyder music channel, etc. A lot of great bands few have ever heard of…Airborne, Morningstar, Angel, Aviary, Alpha Centauri, Orion The Hunter and a lot more. Dennis Lewin’s should get Rock Candy Records a call for

I listened to my Rock Candy CD this evening on my hifi and then on a headphone paying particular attention to the passages that Rkbluez mentioned, but to be honest, I couldn't hear any vinyl crackles and pops...but maybe it's just my ears? Does anyone remember the MTM CD release of Refugee's "Affairs in Babylon"? That was a terrible vinyl rip. I was so disappointed with it that I tra

I'd be cautious about the stated availability of the CDs. I've been waiting six weeks for three Rock Candy Records CDs. They apparently have one in stock, but the other two are unavailable from the distributor, and Grooveland doesn't provide any information about when they'll be available. This is all very strange in my opinion.
