I think it's a very good album overshadowed by one outstanding song "Make It Right".That song is killer early 80's pomp.

Van Stephenson - Suspicious Heart is in my Top 10 AOR albums of all time, listen to the production on that vinyl album, pure perfection!!! His solo albums let me dig into the Blackhawk stuff and what can I say I LOVE all of them mentioned above by Jodes....those perfect harmony vocals...stunning!

Hugo sounds awesome. I'm just about to rediscover his 1996 debut album, it's filled with great songs like Walk Away, So Many Tears Ago, Standing Alone and the "Faithfully twin ballad" A Tear in LA.. Fantastic stuff. i just wish he would come to Germany with his tribute band ....

Both the Refugee albums are not only good, they are phenomenal. I remember being on a holiday trip 15 years ago in the south of Germany

I can still remember my OWN birthday many many years ago. I was young and still living at my parents house whilst the latest edition of AOR Classics dropped through the letterbox. I locked myself into the toilet and studied this very edition for at least 2 hours while the guests happily enjoyed coffee and cake in the living room. Those were the priorities!

I love the Valentine 1990 album (Rock Candy CD sounds killer) and the first Hugo CD from 1996 so a new album from Hugo or Valentine is long overdue.

Yes I have the s/t and Somewhere I´ve never Travelled on vinyl, but to be honest, I have no clue what they sound like. Think I have to dig them out now... One Eighty is fantastic too and better than Road Island I think

T Wow Terry.....Ambrosia! This band is utterly essential. I had Life Beyond LA in my collection for years and somehow it clicked with me only recently and is now on heavy rotation

Meat Loaf - Dead Ringer I'm playing the shit out of it recently and think it's as good as Bat out of hell. For me this is definitely Bat out of hell II Great album that got undeserved reviews at the time of release.

BLACKHAWK are fantastic with the late AOR god Van Stephenson. The first 6 albums are brilliant and me being from Germany with no radio airplay when they were originally released in the 90´s I have only discovered them last year. If you want unbelievable melodies listen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S5cJe7QQZE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTbgE5ef3SA https://www.youtube.co
