The show got better as it went. Steve's voice got stronger, he hit more and more high notes, the technical issues went away, and the crowd got more into it.... by the end, that place was rockin'! I will admit, I wish he would have played some Tall Stories songs (even Tyketto!), but... lets be honest, he HAD to play Journey songs. The venue seemed a little strange (dinner theater/wedding receptio

Have all three of their albums but Corporate Wheel is a killer. Just listened to it last week at work on my iPod. Timothy Lewis fit that album/style to a T. Was hoping for more from them with Lewis... too bad it hasnt happened. Lewis never popped up again either. Always thought he had a Hugo sound to his voice with a little more power.

... and similar sounding songs are bound to happen with bands in the same genre that have soundalike vocalists. Journey is my #1 all time favorite and they define the genre anyway, so they don't need to rip ANYONE off. I just noticed a couple of similarities with Urban Tale. I think, more than anything, it shows how much UT has been influenced by Journey. Not the other way around. Cheers, Br

Kimmo could have fit in there nicely. Besides, Urban Tale aren't doing anything anyway. That new cd was due over a year ago wasn't it??? Brian Mc

He was sued by his "old" label for ripping himself off and his "new" label was benefiting from it. They wanted the profits from his new recordings. The label lost by the way. Brian Mc

Am I the only one who notices a resemblance of the new Journey music to Urban Tale in a couple songs? Especially "Where Did I Lose Your Love". The heavy keyboard intro and Arnel sounds EXACTLY like Kimmo Blom from UT. It reminds me very much of "Runaway Train" from UT's first disc. "What It Takes To Win" is the other song that has an Urban Tale vibe as well. Stra

yep, that's me... I have the Hunsicker version but not the JSS version. Can anyone help me? I used to have a REALLY CRAPPY live clip with JSS singing this song but no studio clips. Any help appreciated! Cheers! Brian Mc PS- I really like the Hunsicker version, shows that he really can hit the Perry notes in the studio. Although I do agree.. very average song. Still, a rarity!

A guy at work, who pirates music at an alarming rate, had the whole disc the other day. I listened to it 2 times through and really really liked it. I am not the biggest WS fan, I mean, I have their greatest hits, but this disc sounded very good to my ears. Definitely some Slide It In and 1987 influences. Also, David is in a bluesier mood here. I will be buying it as soon as I can. Brian Mc

... with Barry Goudreau , Sib Hashian, Tim Archibald, and Brian Maes. It's called Rockin' Away and it sounds real good. Guitars up front and more of that "Boston" sound. Not at all like the Del/Goudreau snoozer from a few years ago. Check out a 30 second clip (and read a blip from Barry too) here: http://discark.com/en/products/view/489/ Sounds pretty good to me, I'll be picking it u

I very much enjoyed his last cd "Room Service". Although it doesn't ROCK, it was a return to his melodic, more accessible music. The single "Open Road" reminds me very much of Run To You. Overall, I thought it was a strong return to the "real" Bryan Adams sound, not that crap he'd been doing since Waking Up The Neighbors. Is it as good as Reckless or Into The Fire or

I don't know Arnel and had never even heard of him before, but, he DOES have super-duper pipes.... no doubt about that. And the armpit sniffing technique? Wow, I'm LOL on that one. All of these years and I never thought of that one before. Rest assured, I'll remember it though! Even though my original post was a joke, I guess there is "always a chance".... enough ca$$$$HHHHH a

... just a smokescreen? Could it really be a stroke of genius, to float this "new singer" story as a total MISDIRECTION to keep people from finding out that the band is hooking up with Steve Perry again? Is that POSSIBLE? Are The Journeymen THAT clever? Have they pulled the wool over ALL of our eyes? Is the REAL story of Perry's return about to be unleashed to an unsuspecting world? Cou

... a ballad called ALWAYS. I asked Steve about it a couple years ago on his "Ask Steve" thing that he does once a year and he acknowledged the song and said that it was "beautiful." Cryptic as ever, he said "maybe one day" when I asked about releasing it. Whatever. I've IM'ed and emailed with people who claim to have a copy of this song (including someone on this

Love 'em both, but not together. Better options are JSS of course and (I cant believe I'm saying this) George Michael. George Michael sucks but he does nail Queen songs.... oh well.. Brian Mc

Frank, I remember "the old days" at the "old" site (journey-the-band.com I think it was). It was pretty great. I was new to the internet and was VERY excited to see an entire site dedicated to my favorite band (along with Steven Lakes Journey tribute page).... boy, I was in heaven. Met lots of good people there too. I remember Skylord and some other folks and thought the onl
