I like The Village, which was £65 a night per room inc breakfast when we stayed there for Z Rock in May. It's a lovely hotel with pool and jacuzzi and all that :-)

Or still go and see them even if they're not playing locally :-P I've been to Belfast twice to see them in the last year, and I live in Brighton! It's a good fun night out with great music, can't be bad.

I saw this on Broadway on April 2nd and agree, it was *fantastic* :-) Everyone had a great time, cast and audience alike - never heard of the Constantine bloke before as I never watch those pop idol progs, but yeah, he has an amazing voice! I'd see it again tomorrow, if only I didn't live 3500 miles away ;-) LOL Brilliant.

Erm - no offence but I'm *very* glad it's London ;-) London gets left out loads with bands in this genre - they are always on at JBs, or Rock City, or Sheffield, or somewhere else it costs a fortune for us suvverners to get to :-P Obviously I'd prefer it if they were to play Brighton LOL but London is do-able in a evening for me, altho it's v tiring getting up for work at 5.30am the next day,

Agreed Sue - they are brilliant live! I've seen them in every incarnation ie Hurricane Party a few times, Roadstar a few times, and as Heavens Basement supporting Thunder last November - am loving the new stuff altho I prefer the Hurricane Party EP to the actual Roadstar album. Gotta get the HB EP yet. Off to see them in Brighton in May. They are nice guys too :-)

I was at the Brighton gig too - it was fun :-) Didn't see you there, were you lurking at the back or something? Not stopped playing the CD since, I thought it might be a bit *too* proggy for me but live it's much chunkier and rocker IMHO. Don't really know any of the old IB stuff unfortunately, have got a couple of CDs around somewhere but never played them LOL (oops!)

I've seen them a few years ago (pre Danny) and they were brilliant :-) Will be going to see the Danny version as soon as I can get myself organised. I say go along, you won't be disappointed. And the Assembly Rooms Worthing isn't the most 'rock' venue I've ever encountered either LOL ;-)

I thought the sound was perhaps a bit muffled at times but IMHO who cares? This was entertainment at its best :-) The guys looked like they were having a great time and it was *fun* A fab mixture of old and new - I loved it :-) Never been to the Corporation before but I liked it, will go there again probably sometime; the 7 hour journey back to Brighton today hasn't put me off LOL I thought me

Bum - she no way looks 18! She's only about 3' tall :-( (ok I exaggerate but years of steroids cos she has arthritis have stunted her growth a bit and if anything she looks younger, rather than older) I'll call the Corporation tomorrow and see what's what - cheers peeps :-)

Excuse me - I am a *natural* blonde if you don't mind!!! :-P (and possibly therefore naturally thick, but there ya go!) I understand perfectly what Bruce is saying as regards the refunds/Rock City having the dosh in their hands etc. I'm not asking for the Thunderground *ticket* itself to be valid/part refunded/whatever, just that the people who've ordered them off Thunderground have the same

Most of the hotels I use when I travel have a 'no refund' policy in the case of cancellation. Even the Crowne Plaza, were I to cancel my 2 night reservation for Firefest, would charge me one night's stay ie £86, whether I cancelled 2 days before, or 6 months before. The £99 I've forked out for Thunderground is not refundable, as stated in the hotel's email here "Cancellation policy Non

I'm glad it's still going on and exceedingly grateful to those who are making it possible, but can I just ask *why* peeps who've bought tix direct from Thunderground won't be afforded the same 'validity' as those who bought direct from Rock City/ticket outlets? If I don't go, I'm £140 out of pocket for the hotel and travelling itself from Brighton; a friend of mine is flying down from Scotland
