Does anyone know where I can get a Palais or ticketmaster presale code for the Europe show at The Palais Melbourne? I can't find any info on where to obtain one. Just don't want to miss out on a good seat. Thanks in advance.

I did the same. Jumped on as soon as the general sale went live to see if I could get better seats & then sell my others. Closest I could get was 1 row behind where I already was, row 27 (stalls F). Gods were not looking upon me favourably this time around obviously (insert sad face here).

Thanks, I new nothing about this. I probably would have paid the $40 fan membership to get a better spot had I known. Whats sad is that it's now apparent that some of the fan club members are gouging the other fans - nice community.

I don't often post on here but I would be interested in hearing viewpoints on the latest Ticketmaster pre-sale for the Scorpions Melbourne show. Through the Melodicrock front page I came to learn they were playing only one show in Australia for the first time ever so it was a no brainer. Telstra customers have a 2 day head start pre-sale advantage over the general public, so I took advantage of t

Ok, thanks for that, question answered. I actually jumped onto Carl Dixon's website earlier today & shot the same question off to him. No doubt when he replies it will be similar. I'm just happy to have found that version to buy as it's something out of the norm.

Thanks guys, that was an interesting read. I didn't purchase the Rock Candy re-issue so didn't know that info. Question now is, Why do I have a record with the rejected cover, which territories was it released in & would it then hold more value (I can't find any on EBay with that cover)?

On the weekend I picked up from the market Friction by Coney Hatch. I grabbed the LP as it has different cover art of a lady sliding down a banister other than the usual industrial sparks that are on my CD cover. I've been unable to find any info on the internet about why there were 2 different covers released. I recall a school friend having a copy of this banister cover on a cassette, my first

Great play list. Just one more I would have added is "Somebody's Baby" which is a beautiful song & one of my all time favorite Benatar tunes, even though it does make me a bit sad when I listen to it. Other than that I think you have it pretty spot on.

Met him years ago & got a picture taken. He didnt stand up for the photo, I had to go around the table & stand next to him. I was as at the front of the line & he would only sign one item each so when I had my vinyl signed I went back to the end of the line. He signed then a couple of CDs & suprisingly we spoke about our childern as his wife & child were at the side waiting &a

I didn't know quite what to expect after hearing their first single "Dirty Dynamite" taken from the CD. Sounded too much like a Dan Baird song for these ears (that being said it is one of my mates favorite songs from the album). The Cd itself I absolutely love especially the songs "Yellow Mary" & "Better Than Sex". Fully agree with the Beatles cover of Help, soun

Heres another link with info about itunes creating another folder. In part it states- Some file scanning software products that are not made by Apple, such as the Sony VAIO Entertainment Platform, may damage your iTunes library. If the library becomes damaged, iTunes may create a new, empty library. Although the library appears empty, the media files should still be in their original locati

This happened to me the last week. The only albums left were the ones I had purchased direct from Itunes. It happened after I did an AVG summer edition Update for some unknown reason yet I have read that it has happened to others also. Something about Itunes creating a new folder hence not being able to see your existing content as fas as I recall. Found a fix at this Apple link http://support.

2 Fridays back Jack Jones played an evening of Southern Sons tunes in Albury (Australia) at the SS&A club, I was suprised to see & read the promo's as I thought he was flat out with Electric Mary. Unfortunately I couldn't make it due to work commitments but my mate who was there said he's been here a couple of times over the last fews years doing purely Southern Son sets.

When I first heard Glossolalia I thought "What the...??". After a couple of spins I couldn't stop listening to it, it has become one of my all time favorite releases. Absolutely love "Smakin' the clowns", great story, great song. I like Shadowman but was hoping for something as brilliant as Glossolalia.

This was posted on Warrants Website Yesterday in the Tour section. I want to know why the tour promoter 'Intense-Impact' hasn't let ticket holders know any news of whats going on, even though they stated on Monday via email that they would relases an official announcement the following day (Tuesday). Tour Dates Event Title: Australian Tour has been postponed When: 04 29 11 Cat

Just received this email from the promoters- Major Announcement 'Quiet Riot have pulled out of the Metal Health Tour. They have been replaced by Mike Stone’s (ex Queensryche guitarist) new band The Stick People, who will be performing under LA Guns. WE are currently re negotiating with Warrant and are extremely confident of a positive outcome resulting in Warrant now headlining this t

Do you own 'Raging Silence' ? This was the first release with Bernie Shaw on vocals, absolutely brilliant CD. This is what got me into Heep as a teen, then I went back into the the earlier releases.

I also noticed they left Carmine Appice out of the line up of King Kobra even though they do speak extensively of him in the write-up. Back on Heep, I Saw them for the first time last Saturday night in Melbourne at the Palaise. Fantastic show !They had the fans up on their feet from the get go. My friend, son & I were 7 rows back & noticed about half way through that 4 people in the fron

I prefer the old. It's like when a band changes their logo they've had for years, fans identify with how logo's are written & presented & may even think the bands unique identity ,that they have come to know & love, has dissapeared. Many bands have change log's in the past only to return to their trademark years later. Just my 2 cents.
