They capture that classic retro synthwave vibe while still keeping plenty of melody and memorable hooks, so I think they might appeal to some members of this board. Great interview, made my day! Danny is one of the top blokes in rock music. I'd only wish that he recorded more songs with Secretary of Fate, it doesn't get much better.

I really like the album, it is in fact much better than I expected. I was very disappointed with the first single, though that’s partly because I can’t stand the harmonica. Danny Vaughn is great as always. Still for me the best thing he has done in years is the song with Secretary of Fate. That one always gives me goosebumps when I hear it.

For me, that's all the songs by Secretary of Fate. “When the Night is Darkest” featuring Tyketto's Danny Vaughn is definitely the best song Danny has done in decades. Imo the new Tyketto song is a bit underwhelming. Danny Vaughn lifts this track with his great vocals, but the song itself is nothing special.For me, it's too bluesy, and I would prefer to replace the harmonica with a guitar solo.
